    摘要: The present animal cooling mat apparatus includes a mat shell, at least one coolant sheet, at least one cushioning pad, and at least one foam pad. The coolant sheet is removably located within the mat shell, with the cushioning pad removably located within the mat shell above the at least one coolant sheet and the insulating pad is located within the mat shell below the at least one coolant sheet. The coolant sheet provides a heat sink to rapidly cool an animal, while the cushioning pad facilitates heat transfer and the insulating pad reduces the amount of ambient heat transferred from the environment. Multiple apparatuses may be combined to accommodate larger animals.

    摘要: A pressure activated recharging cooling platform for cooling an object is provided. The cooling platform comprises a temperature regulation layer, a support layer, and a channeled covering layer. The temperature regulation layer is adapted to hold a composition. The temperature regulation layer has a plurality of angled segments, wherein angled segments within a sealed perimeter of the temperature regulation layer are formed by a top side and a bottom side at a predefined distance, and channels, wherein the channels substantially form sides by contacting the top side with the bottom side at a distance lesser than the predefined distance. The support layer is substantially bonded to the bottom side of the temperature regulation layer and is comprised of material sufficiently pliable to deform and sufficiently rigid to withstand collapse in response to the weight of the object. The channeled covering layer encompasses the support and temperature regulation layers.

    摘要: A system and method for the conductive cooling and warming of livestock. Heat exchangers are positioned beneath the cushion bedding areas of the animal so as to utilize on-site water, either in a single pass or a re-circulating system. In a single pass system the on-site water supply is diverted to the heat exchangers below the animal cushion bedding before returning to its original use for purposes such as drinking, wash down, or other processes. With the re-circulating system, a separate heat exchanger is located between the on-site water and the re-circulating water to the cushion bedding areas so as to exchange heat transferred from the animal lying on the cushion bedding above the heat exchanger.

    摘要: The invention relates to a heatable floor for livestock stalls comprising a plurality of hollow, right-angled plate elements whose hollow spaces are filled with a heat transfer fluid and can be heated by means of heating lines (11) running through the hollow spaces, wherein each plate element comprises one upper shell (1) having an inlet opening (5) and forming a standing surface for the livestock and one lower shell (7) supporting the upper shell (1), the shells being connected to one another liquid-tight at their edges and having means for suspending carriers and being supported on one another by supports (6, 9) that run through the hollow space. In order to enable filling of the plate element without bubbles in the floor with increased stability of the plate element, the invention proposes that the supports be formed by laterally open pipe nozzles with round or cornered cross-sections, at least in the region adjacent to the upper shell (1) from below, the lateral openings of the pipe nozzles all being aligned to a filling opening (5) located on the edge of the upper shell (1).
