摘要： A marine animal netting device for catching crabs includes a pole, which is selectively extensible. A net is pivotally attached to the pole proximate to a first end of the pole and a handle attached to a second end of the pole. A line is loopedly positioned on and selectively extensible from a reel, which is attached to the handle, through line guides attached to the pole, and past the net. A connector, which is attached to a terminus of the line, is used to connect a bait. The handle is gripped in a hand of a user to manipulate the net and the bait into a body of water to attract a marine animal. The reel is used to reel in the bait and the marine animal into a position over the net, allowing the user to raise the net to catch the marine animal.

摘要： The present disclosure is directed to a transformer device that attaches to a paddle for fishing. The device may attach to a single or double ended paddle. In any embodiment, the device includes a reel mount that enables a fishing reel to be mounted to the shaft of a paddle. The device also includes a rod mount that removably attaches to a shaft of a paddle. In one embodiment, the reel mount and the rod mount are independently attachable and positionable along a paddle shaft. The rod mount can removably accept and secure a fishing rod including guides for fishing line. One or more rods can be interchangeably coupled to the rod mount. In another embodiment, the rod mount includes a catch for retaining a rod within a ferrule of the rod mount. The device is attachable to a typical paddle to permit fishing while a user propels a watercraft.

摘要： A heated fishing rod guide apparatus is provided to enable fishing in freezing conditions. A circuit strip overlay is positionable upon a fishing rod to situate a plurality of heating elements in heating contact with each of the plurality of guides disposed upon the fishing rod blank. Electrical energy supplied to each guide therefore resistively heats said guides to prevent the fishing line from freezing thereto to prevent snapping of the line as often otherwise occurs. At least one connector is disposed upon the handle of the fishing rod disposed in circuit with the circuit strip overlay. The at least one connector may be adapted for connection with at least one contact disposed upon a cold weather glove, to enable heating of the rod when held in hand, and, alternately, with an attachable contact to enable hands-free heating.

摘要： The threading apparatus and methods of threading various types of fishing hooks and lures of this invention provide convenience and ease of use applicable to a wide range of hook sizes, shapes, and types. The threading apparatus is fabricated as a single molded part body made from an elastomeric material such as TPE with molded sectors including: slotted clip sector, chamfered frustoconical sector, non-chamfered frustoconical sector, slotted hook eyelet positioning curb, an at least one set of elongated hook shank holding ribs, and an exit sector. The invention provides simplified and enhanced threading operations which include hooks with particularly small eyelets or thin shank diameters, weighted hooks, and for fly hooks (lure hooks) or bodied hooks with particularly short exposed shank length. The facility for enhanced threading operations relies on the molded elastomeric material properties of the threading apparatus body including a durometer range comprehending flexibility without significant deformation memory.

摘要： An improved line cutter for fishing rods is provided, comprising a reel seat having a base, wherein the base includes a trigger extending from the base. A slot is formed into the trigger, wherein the slot is adapted to accept a portion of fishing line. A blade with a cutting edge is positioned within the slot, and the cutting edge is exposed to cut the fishing line when the fishing line is pressed against the blade. An alternative design is also provided wherein the trigger is removable from the reel seat base. In the removable trigger, the entire trigger and blade assembly may be replaced, or a blade pocket inside the trigger permits retention and replacement of the blade alone.
