摘要： The helmet appliqué assembly of the present invention permits a helmet wearer to upgrade the ballistic prevention capabilities of a traditional helmet quickly and efficiently. The helmet appliqué can be provided as part of a helmet appliqué system and/or assembly that includes internal-side connection means for attaching to a helmet and external-side connection means for receiving any of various external items such as identification tags, mounts and external equipment or attachments. The appliqué element can comprise various types of material, including, for example, ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). In one embodiment of the present invention, multiple helmet appliqué elements are employed on the same helmet and include surfaces and portions that are cooperatively engageable for covering multiple areas of the helmet at the same time.

The illuminating helmet cover includes a plurality of illuminating elements, such as light-emitting diodes, lamps, or reflective surfaces, which allow a user to be more easily visible. The plurality of illuminating elements are coupled with one or more strands that are configured to extend over the helmet, such as in the form of a netting. The illuminating helmet cover fastens with the helmet via one or more coupling components, such as clamps, hooks, adhesives, Velcro, etc. A power source is connected with the one or more strands for providing power to one or more of the plurality of illuminating elements. Operation of the plurality of lights may he customized by the user, for example, by changing colors, strobe patterns, and/or brightness or intensity.

摘要： The present disclosure provides an apparatus for use in reducing the impact to the head during sporting activities. The present disclosure provides a helmet cap that covers an underlying hard shell helmet. The helmet cap has a durable, energy absorbing outer shell, which lessens the initial impact to the helmet. The outer shell is formed into segments of padded material that may deform on impact. The outer shell has an inner surface that allows the outer shell to slide over the surface of a helmet thereby reducing forces applied to a wearer. The helmet cap may be securely attached to helmets without modification of the helmets. The helmet cap may include an adjustable fastener that allows the helmet cap to be securely attached to helmets of varying dimensions.

摘要： A cover for a lacrosse helmet made from four elastic fabric panels is disclosed that closely conforms to the shape of a lacrosse helmet and includes a center panel that is cut into the shape of a polygon and has a front side a rear side and two lateral sides, a pair of lateral panels and a rear panel that is cut into the shape of a segment of a circle that includes a straight side and an arcuate side. The rear side of the center panel is attacked to the middle of the arcuate side of the rear panel. The lateral panels are shaped to cover the portion of the helmet that is opposite the ears and include straps that fasten to a chin guard of a conventional lacrosse helmet. The straight side of the rear panel and a front side of the central panel are gathered together and sewn to allow these sections to stretch. The helmet cover further includes openings in the rear panel to allow access to snap-on posts provided on the helmet.

摘要： An elasticized, weatherproof assembly adapted to being attached to a military helmet. Foliage and the like available for the surrounding terrain may be inserted into the assembly at points over the entire helmet. The present invention also provides a face and bug net attachable to said helmet assembly. The face and bug net may be stored in a rolled up position onto the helmet assembly or deployed. In the deployed state the face and bug net is rolled down over the face and neck, thereby camouflaging the face and neck while also providing bug protection. The present invention also provides a bundle of camouflage strips stored attached to the apex of the helmet assembly. In a deployed state, the camouflage strips extend downward over the helmet.
