Abstract: A wrist strengthening device includes a first handle, a second handle coupled to the first handle, and a tightening component coupled to the first handle and the second handle. The tightening component is configured to provide resistance to movement of the first handle and the second handle as the first handle is moved in a first direction and the second handle is moved in a second direction, opposite the first direction. The tightening component includes an outer piece, an inner piece, and a male and a female portion. Movement of the male portion toward the female portion causes space between the inner piece and the outer piece to decrease and friction therebetween to concurrently increase.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system and/or an apparatus for an improved helmet system that may help reduce the severity of injuries by enhancing overall helmet protection through uniquely designed facemasks and facemask bumpers. The facemask and facemask bumpers that are particularly adapted to redistribute pressure and impact forces, decrease vibration, sudden shock, noise and/or the peak forces transmitted from the facemask to the rest of the helmet system. The facemask bumpers may be disposed into specific regions of the facemask, including the brow region, the glabella region, orbit region, the frontal region, the mandible (front, right and/or left side) region, the maxilla region, the nasal region, zygomatic region, the ethmoid region, the lacrimal region, the sphenoid region and/or any combination thereof.

Abstract: A device and methods for training a person for face-offs in athletic activities and games. The device includes a base connector, a main resilient member, and a stick wrap. The stick wrap is connected to the heel of the stick and to the main resilient member. The base connector is connected to the main resilient member and serves to connect the training device to a stationary structure. The main resilient member is configured to provide a desired level of resistance to a face-off motion of the stick by the user. An auxiliary resilient member is provided for connection in parallel to the main resilient member to enable the device to provide increased resistance to the face-off motion of the stick by the user.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a hand covering, such as a glove or mitten, with a retainer for holding the hand covering in a retaining configuration when not being worn covering the hand of a user. The hand covering may include a central hand portion, a finger receiving portion extending from the central hand portion, and a strap. The hand covering may extend generally in a longitudinal direction from a proximal side at the central hand portion to a distal side at the finger receiving portion. The central hand portion may define at the proximal side a cavity configured to receive a hand. The strap may be attached to an inside face of the central hand portion and extend generally lateral to the longitudinal direction. The strap may be separable from the inside face in between a first attached end and a second attached end to define a passageway configured to receive a hand.
