摘要： A refrigerated merchandiser including a case that defines a product display area and an access opening. The case has an air inlet and an air outlet, and a passageway fluidly connects the air inlet with the air outlet to direct a refrigerated airflow across the customer access opening in the form of an air curtain. The merchandiser also includes shelves that are coupled to the case. Each shelf includes an inlet, an outlet, a fan unit disposed in the shelf, and a heat exchanger. The fan unit is in communication with the passageway to draw air through the inlet to direct a portion of the airflow through the shelf toward the outlet. The heat exchanger is disposed in the shelf to cool the airflow in the shelf to provide independent zone cooling to a predetermined region of the product display area.

摘要： A heated food storage and display cabinet comprises an open fronted enclosed chamber within which packs of food can be stored, the cabinet including flow inducing means and heater means arranged in an upper region thereof, the flow inducing means being operable to draw air from an upper portion of the enclosed chamber, direct the air over the heater means to heat the air and subsequently urge the heated air down the rear wall of the chamber and across the floor of the chamber towards the open front of the chamber, said heated air being subsequently directed upwardly and rearwardly across the open front of the chamber by an airflow direction member of the chamber to provide a heated air curtain across the open front of the chamber, wherein a portion of the heated air passes into the chamber as said heated air moves down the rear wall and across the floor so as to pass over and around packs of food stored therein.

One or more goods display shelves are located in the goods compartment, the goods display shelves being configured in such a manner that the at last one partial flow of the cool-air curtain is guided across them to the front area of the goods display shelves. The goods display shelves are provided with structure for stabilizing at least one partial flow of the cool-air curtain flowing along the goods compartment opening. The goods display shelves are linked with the rear wall of the goods compartment in an air-tight manner and the structure for stabilizing the cool-air curtain flowing along the goods compartment opening are adapted to deviate the cool-air curtain in the direction of the goods compartment.

In this storage apparatus, conditioning air such as cold air or hot air is circulated in the respective zones, and the environmental conditions can be adjusted efficiently in zone basis. Therefore, in a storage apparatus equipped with an open-type display case part, it is possible to dispense with an air curtain covering the entire open side, so that a storage apparatus with a high storage capacity is provided.

摘要： A showcase includes air outlets provided at an upper rear end of a goods-storing room, and shelf ducts individually provided at lower faces of goods shelves. Cold air discharged from the air outlets is caused to descend along a rear plate of the goods-storing room, and then flows through the shelf ducts from rear ends towards front ends of the goods shelves while being partly discharged downward, whereby the cold air can be discharged downward from the shelf ducts to lower goods shelves, making it possible to efficiently cool goods placed on the goods shelves, even if no air curtain is formed in front of a showcase body. Accordingly, the visibility of upper goods shelves can be improved by using an upper face of the showcase formed by a transparent top plate.
