Abstract:
A security device and base for a mobile device. The security device includes a body, at least two sliding arms coupled to the body, and a leveling plate coupled to the body and configured to receive the mobile device.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a presentation device for presenting a hand-held electronic media display unit, comprising: a support comprising a foot provided with a support surface; a number of frame parts mounted on the support and provided with hooks, wherein the support surface and the hooks of the frame parts together form an enclosing space in which the unit can be held, wherein the frame parts extending along one side of the enclosing space take a displaceable form; a guide which is embodied to guide the displacement of the displaceable frame parts, wherein the guide is embodied to guide the displaceable frame parts between a first, closed state in which the display unit is non-removable and a second, open state in which the display unit can be easily placed in the device and can be easily removed again therefrom, wherein the position of the respective hooks of the frame parts in the opened state and the position thereof in the closed state are spatially remote from each other both in a direction in the plane of the support surface and in a direction transversely of the support surface.

Abstract:
A method of using a security display apparatus for media content products in a retail store is disclosed. The method includes arranging sample media content containers in a side-by-side configuration on a front lip of a security display fixture, wherein each of the sample media content containers is anchored to the security display fixture with a security cable The method further includes unlocking an access door of the security display fixture, in response to a consumer request, to provide access to an internal space defined by the security display fixture rearward of the sample media content containers, and retrieving one or more non-tethered media content containers from the internal space that are of a same title as one of the sample media content containers positioned immediately in front of the one or more non-tethered media content containers.
Abstract:
Some embodiments of an apparatus for displaying media content products may provide consumers with the convenience of browsing front and rear faces of the sample media content products while all of the media content products (including the sample packages) can be secured in a manner that hinders theft. In particular embodiments, the media content products can be secured without requiring the store workers to insert each and every media content product into a security box or security tether system.
Abstract:
A merchandise display system includes a rod lockably connected to a peg board, a hanging member hanging from the rod and a swivel member rotatably connected to the hanging member about a first axis. The swivel member is connected to a lockable display case for carrying an item of merchandise and is rotatable about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis. Thus, the display case is rotatable about the first and second axes to facilitate viewing the merchandise from any angle while the case is lockably connected to the rod. The hanging and swivel members may be a ball and socket combination. Alternately, the swivel member may connect to the display case via a hinge pin about which portions of the case may rotate to open and close. Alternately, a lower member may extend from within the case through holes therein to rotatably connect to the swivel member about the second axis.
Abstract:
A multi-sided tray including means for pivotally supporting a plurality of coin display holders. Winged projections from each holder align with slots which include an entry/exit portion and a pivot portion. Transverse longitudinal slots receive notched slide rails which align with the holder slots and whereby individual holders may be released or locked to the tray relative to a keyed lock engages a slide actuation means.
Abstract:
A display device for articles such as audio cassettes and cartridges, the device having at least one vertically disposed wing-like member in the form of a frame with an opening through which the articles can be inserted into or removed from the frame, the frame being pivotally mounted about a first axis on an arm which itself is pivotable about a further axis parllel to the first axis, the first axis being an axis of a vertical pin on the arm, the further axis being an axis of a rod to which the arm is fixed, means being provided for locking the frame in relation to the arm so that the opening remains in the proximity of a blocking means said opening despite joints pivoting movement of the frame and the arm about the further axis, the frame being movable about the first axis so as to remove the opening from the proximity of the blocking means, only after release of the said locking means enables movement of the frame relative to the arm.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a unit for displaying cassettes and tape cartridges. The unit is pivotally mounted about a fixed support and comprises one or more radially extending display sections each of which is adapted to receive the cassettes in a slidable manner in the radial direction from the ends of the arms forming the display section. Unauthorised removal of the cassettes is prevented by a locking device which may be positioned under the control of a locking mechanism across the plane of withdrawal of the cassette from the arms of each display section. The locking device may comprise a relatively rotatable frame incorporating locking bars. In an alternative arrangement a locking rod may be positioned in the arms for vertical or horizontal movement under the control of a locking mechanism. The locking rods may also be angularly movable.
Abstract:
Systems disclosed herein are directed to a display stand unit for a retail environment. The display stand unit includes a base having an interior and a display stand. The display stand includes a stem that connects to and extends upwardly from the base and a receiving surface that is suspended above and spaced away from the base by the stem. The receiving surface is configured to releasably hold an electronic device above and spaced away from the base. The display stand unit further includes a security cable that extends out from the base. The security cable is configured to attach to the electronic device to movably secure the electronic device to the base. The display stand unit further includes a retractor disposed within the interior of the base and connected to the security cable. The retractor automatically retracts the security cable.
