摘要： A dispenser for containers is disclosed, consisting of a rail, a front retainer and a pusher coil secured within a pusher. The rail serves to suspend the containers held by their lip, while the pusher, secured within the rail, continuously pushes forward onto the containers. Meanwhile, the front retainer comprises of two abutment protrusions which serve as a barrier to prevent the containers from going too far forward. An individual wishing to remove a container simply has to pull forward on the container such that it makes its way past the barrier created by the abutment protrusions of the front retainer.

摘要： A theft deterrent dispensing unit particularly for use with cans includes a conveyor section that leads to a dispensing head. A shroud extends over the forward edge of the conveying section. The dispensing head pivots downwardly allowing the leading can to be grasped without interference of the shroud. The rear edge of the dispensing head pivots upwardly, preventing the next adjacent can from moving immediately into the dispensing head until the dispensing head rotates back to a closed position. Likewise, when the dispensing head is rotated to an open position, a barrier is pulled down from the top of the shroud, again preventing an individual from reaching in and grabbing the next adjacent can. A locking mechanism is positioned on the side of the dispensing units to prevent two adjacent dispensing units from being opened at the same time. Finally, the speed at which the dispensing heads move from an open to a closed position is regulated to prevent rapid removal of cans from a single dispensing unit.

摘要： A delivery track construction for use with display coolers, and dispensing devices for relatively perishable packaged products. The construction includes at least one pair of parallel inclined tracks having first and second terminal ends for gravity feeding of packages from the first to the second end. The packages are supported by a track-engaging member which slidably engages the rails. In one embodiment, the track-engaging member is in the form of a T-shaped hook defining a pair of recesses which engage the rails. In another form, the track-engaging member is in the form of a sphere of diameter sufficient to span the interstice formed by the rails. In another embodiment, the track is formed by a inclined lower wall and a pair of parallel vertical walls adapted to support cylindrical containers in parallel vertical orientation for serial dispensing.

摘要： A modular merchandising device for bottles is disclosed. The merchandising device comprises a plurality of parallel elongate tracks, and support means for supporting the tracks so that each track is inclined downwardly toward its front end. Each track is designed to support a row of bottles such that the bottles in the row are suspended by their neck flanges for movement along the respective track and are removable from the respective track through its front end. Because of the inclined position of the tracks, the bottles when supported by each track are allowed to gravity feed one after another to the track front end as the leading bottles in the respective row successively are removed from the respective track. The support means comprises a pair of front and rear transverse support members disposed generally perpendicularly to the tracks. Each track comprises means for removably mounting the respective track on at least one of the front and rear transverse members. The removably mounting means comprises means for movably connecting the respective track to the one transverse member for sliding movement along the one transverse member.

摘要： A rack for flanged articles comprises a pair of front and rear opposed parallel transverse support members, and a pair of longitudinal members extending between the front and rear support members. Each of longitudinal member is formed of a wire strip and comprises a straight portion and an upturned forward end portion. The straight portions of the longitudinal members extend forward from the rear support member to positions below the front support member. The straight portions are disposed to form a pair of spaced parallel rails for receiving therebetween a row of articles such that the articles are slidably engaged at the undersides of their flanges with the rails, and thereby the articles are suspended by their flanges for movement along the rails. The upturned forward end portions of the longitudinal members extend upward to the front support member and secured to the same to form a brace for interconnecting the rails and the front support member. The upturned forward end portions are divergent toward the front support member so that an exit for the articles is defined between the upturned forward end portions.
