Abstract: A moisture control apparatus for a cooking chamber of a cooking device. A cooking system that can include the cooking device and the moisture control apparatus connected to the cooking chamber of the cooking device. The moisture control apparatus can include a control portion and a dispersal portion. The control portion can be located on the outside of the cooking device. The control portion can control the flow of water to the dispersal portion so as to control moisture on a food in the cooking chamber of the cooking device by providing, by the dispersal portion, a mist or fog of water particles to the cooking surface of the cooking chamber. The dispersal portion can be located inside the cooking chamber of the cooking device, and the control portion can be located outside the cooking chamber of the cooking device.

Abstract: A system for controlling a heating device by monitoring the status of any dish being cooked. The system is provided with connectivity to cloud server comprising the relevant reference data, one or more sensors configured to monitor the status of dish being cooked, and processing circuitry that prevents the dish from being overcooked, burned, or spilled over by using the combination of reference data that is stored on the cloud server as well as the sensory data from one or more of its sensors, and generating a warning signal to the user. Additionally, the system and its one or more sensors will monitor the surroundings for hazardous conditions such as cooking gas leakages, active heating device left unattended for a long time.

Abstract: A multi-function cooking apparatus control system and control method for improving the reproducibility of cooking results of a multi-function cooking apparatus includes a recipe program interface component to access a plurality of recipe programs. Predefined operating conditions include an operating parameter setting for a technical capability parameter of the cooking apparatus. An operating parameter interface component receives actual operating parameter values reflecting actual operating conditions of the cooking apparatus. If an actual technical capability parameter deviates from the predefined operating conditions and indicates a non-compensable deficiency of a technical capability of the cooking apparatus, instructions are sent to the cooking apparatus to prevent or stop automatic execution of the particular recipe program. If the actual technical capability parameter deviates from the predefined operating conditions and indicates a compensable deficiency of the technical capability of the cooking apparatus, compensation instructions are determined for the cooking apparatus according to predefined compensation rules.
