    摘要： A valve and dispensing assembly for dispensing powdered material from a container includes a flexible tube intended to be collapsed to actuate a valve which permits the tube to selectively open for dispensing the material through the tube. The assembly includes a flexible tube apparatus including a body attachable to the container and a valve releasably received within the tube and normally closing it off. Collapse of the tube causes it to move relatively of the valve to unseat it and open the tube for material discharge. The assembly also includes a declumper secured to the tube for movement therewith during collapse of the tube. The valve closes off the tube when in its uncollapsed condition while the tube and declumper move relatively of the valve during collapse to open the tube. A portion of the declumper is bifurcated and has serrated opposed edges which can engage the head of the valve during the tube collapse to assist in breaking up clumps which may have formed in the material.

    摘要： A powder dispensing device for dispensing powder in controlled quantities used in connection with playing billiards is disclosed. The device of the present invention includes a box-type enclosure made of wood or plastic or other suitable material, into which a loose weave cloth container containing powder such as talcum powder is attached to the bottom surface of a substantially semi-circular mounting platform inside the enclosure, closely adjacent to and above an opening in the front of the enclosure. Mounting flanges formed by extending the back of the enclosure beyond the length of the sides of the enclosure allow the entire device to be mounted to a wall or other substantially vertical surface. When the cloth container is agitated, the powder is dispensed directly onto the fingers of a player.

    摘要： There is disclosed a powder dispenser having a support for retaining an inverted opened rigid container of powdered material, such as powdered soap or detergent. The dispenser has a funnel-like arrangement terminating in a downwardly facing opening. Positioned thereunder is a trap chamber into which an amount of the powdered material is accumulated. The trap chamber is suitably journalled whereby it may rotate through a relatively small angle and also has a downwardly extending lever to manipulate the trap chamber whereby the powdered material therein may be discharged therefrom a leaf spring is provided to urge the trap chamber to its normal position to receive the powdered material.
