The leg stretching device includes a fixed housing having a fastening hole and a coupling groove, a movable housing penetratingly coupled to the fastening hole of the fixed housing to be movable and having a support means provided on one side thereof to enable a user seated thereon, a pair of auxiliary housings detachably coupled to the coupling groove of the fixed housing in an opposite direction thereto, and a connection portion having one side connected to the fixed housing and the other side connected to the movable housing to control movement of the movable housing in a length direction thereof.

    摘要： An automated therapy table is disclosed. The automated therapy table may have various support portions capable of independent automatic actuation of a person's lower extremities through passive exercise. The automated therapy table allows a patient to perform leg elevation, approximation/decompression of the leg, internal/external rotation of the leg, ankle plantar flexion/dorsiflexion, and foot inversion/eversion movements. During each movement, the patient may be instructed to think in the direction of the movement. It has been found that doing so helps increase the healing effects. The disclosed table and method may be beneficial for patients after certain operations as well as for those suffering from various forms of debilitating illnesses, such as Multiple Sclerosis, Charcot-Marie-Tooth, and Muscular Dystrophy.

    摘要： A body exerciser includes two leg-supporting members having first proximate ends pivoted to a seat member, and first distal ends swingable relative to the seat member on a horizontal plane. A guiding member has a second proximate end secured to the seat member between the first proximate ends, and a second distal end. A sliding member is mounted slidably on the guiding member, and is connected pivotally to the first distal ends of the leg supporting rods by two connecting members, respectively. When the user sits on the seat member and bends forward to move the sliding member toward the second distal end, the connecting members will cooperate to spread apart the leg supporting members for spreading apart the user's legs so as to exercise the user's trunk and legs.

    摘要： According to the invention, a stretching machine is provided that can be used both for physical therapy/rehabilitation and for physical fitness. The stretching machine includes both an arm and back stretching component and a leg, thigh, and calf stretching component. The arm and back stretching component includes a mechanism for allowing the user to sit and fully extend his arms either directly above his head, directly in front of his torso, or at any angle therebetween. In addition, the arm and back stretching component can be pivoted to an angular orientation with respect to the user's waist, thereby allowing different muscle groups to be stretched. The leg, thigh, and calf stretching component includes a pair of leg supports which when moved apart holds the user's legs in a spread orientation for a period of time to stretch the muscles. Preferably, the arm and back stretching component and the leg, thigh, and calf stretching component can be used in cooperation with one another to stretch a variety of muscle groups.

    摘要： An exercise machine to stretch one or more muscle groups or joints of a body part, has at least one engagement member pivotally mounted on the frame to engage a body part associated with the muscle group or joint that is to be stretched and to position such part at a desired location. The engagement member is pivotally displaceable through a predetermined range of movement with respect to the frame. Movement in a first direction is effective to apply a stretching force to the associated muscle group. Movement of the engagement member in the first direction is done through a linear actuator. An angle indicator provides a readout of the position of said engagement member in the range. At any selected position in the range the engagement member can be blocked against movement in a direction opposite to the first direction and the force exerted by said body part upon the engagement member in the second direction is measured.

A movable housing is threadedly received on the worm gear, and a pair of elongate rod members are dual-plane pivotally mounted on opposing sides of the housing. The distal ends of the rod members are adapted for receiving the legs of a user. Rotation of the worm gear is controlled by a multiple-plane pivoting handle positioned for user operation.
