摘要： A multi-tank system and aircraft for dispersing firefighting materials includes a fuselage, a pair of wings, a first storage tank, a second storage tank, a first opening, a second opening, a first closure, a second closure, and an actuator. The first opening is disposed forward of a center of gravity of the aircraft and the second opening is disposed rearward of the center of gravity of the aircraft to maintain stability of the aircraft. The first opening is coupled to the first storage tank and the second opening is coupled to the second storage tank. The actuator is configured to open at least one of the first closure and the second closure, in order to disperse firefighting materials such as water, fire retardant, or a mixture thereof.

摘要： The system includes an intake assembly upstream of a pump within the bucket which selectively uses an outer port for drawing water outside of the bucket into the system and an inner port for drawing water from within the bucket into the system. A polymer gel port is interposed between the intake assembly and the pump for combination, mixing and activation of a water and polymer gel emulsion combination within the pump. A fill assembly is provided downstream of the pump which can selectively direct water back into the bucket. A discharge assembly is also provided downstream of the pump which leads to a nozzle or other outlet for water and/or polymer gel emulsion from the system. A control valve selects between delivery of water and/or polymer gel emulsion back into the bucket through the fill assembly or out of the bucket through the discharge.

In the first stage the helicopter carries the sand tank from the station/depot to the firing woods and starts bombarding the sand around and top of the fire and a second helicopter carries the water tank from the station to the top of the bombarded flames and starts spraying water before the flame starts again.

The bladder is rupturable with a pair of bladder straps attached to the bladder which is pulled upon by a pair of lid straps attached to a lid when the firefighting device is released from a forward moving aircraft. Additionally, the sleeve may have a pair of sleeve straps which are connected to a lower half of the sleeve and the lid straps to facilitate rotation of the device when the device is released from the forward moving aircraft.

摘要： A collapsible fire fighting bucket for being suspended from a helicopter having an open bucket body of pliable material with an open rim and an opening in the bottom, an annular base member of pliable material that is attached to the bottom adjacent to the opening, a tubular extension (i.e. dump valve) made of pliable material and having a base portion at one end and a free end at the other end with a discharge port, and a heavy duty watertight zipper releasably connecting the base portion of the tubular extension to the annular base member on the bucket body. The zipper enables the dump valve to be easily removed from, and reattached to, the bucket thereby providing an efficient mechanism for replacing a worn out dump valves.

摘要： The RAINSTORM Method applies to helicopters having suspended or built-in liquid reservoir. The innovation lies on the transformation of the fire fighting liquid into artificial rain in the form of an umbrella having diameter approximately equal to the diameter of the helicopter's propeller, with adjustable density and duration. The rain creation mechanism in both cases consists of a hollow propeller with two wings where the liquid is guided hydraulically. The liquid jets through nozzles which are in counterpoised arrangement causing the initial revolution of the hollow propeller. This rotation is accelerated and stabilized from the downstream of the helicopter's propeller. The suspended reservoir is adapted by means of a triangular arrangement with three belts through a rectangular stretcher fixed on the helicopter's hook. The built-in reservoir uses a retractable or inclined metallic pipe at the free end of which a hollow propeller is adapted through a free rotation mechanism.
