摘要: A sport exercise device; for use with a sport stick, the sport stick having a head and a shaft. The device comprises a face, edge and attachment means. In one approach, the edge is adapted and arranged to surround the stick's head. The attachment means allows attachment of the device's face to hold an independently provided weight with respect to the head. The attachment means may allow attachment of the device's face to close the stick's net sufficient to prevent out-passage of a ball within the net.

摘要: An article of footwear includes an upper member and a sole structure, with a sensor system connected to the sole structure. The sensor system includes a plurality of sensors that are configured for detecting forces exerted by a user's foot on the sensor. The sensor system also includes a port that is configured to receive a module to place the module in communication with the sensors. The port includes a housing with a chamber configured to receive the module and an interface engaged with the housing and having at least one electrical contact exposed to the chamber. Additional retaining structure and interface structure may be included.

摘要: Methods and apparatus relating to predicting outcome in a sporting environment are described. The methods and apparatus are used to relate trajectory performance of an object to body motions and body orientation associated with a generating the trajectory of the object. When equipment is utilized to generate the trajectory of an object, than the effects of equipment motions and equipment orientation can be also related to trajectory performance. The method and apparatus can be used to predict body motions and body orientations that increase the likelihood of achieving a desired outcome including specifying optimum motions and orientations for a particular individual. The method and apparatus may be used in training, coaching and broadcasting environments.

摘要: A running device and method of using the device are disclosed. The device may include a moveable material within an inner chamber of the running device's housing. In operation, a running device may be held in each hand and the runner may thrust both hands downward prior to landing and quickly bring the devices to a vertical stop after landing. Bringing the devices to a vertical stop may cause the moveable material to collide with the housing and increase the force exerted by the runner on the ground. A delay component may delay the peak force exerted by the material against the housing so that the translation of that force to the ground coincides with the peak force that the runner would have exerted against the ground in the absence of the devices.

摘要: A practice and/or training device for building fine motor skills for sports that use a stick, racket, or paddle with a ball. The device is shaped to resemble the sport's original racket/stick/paddle shape (e.g., tennis racket or lacrosse stick) but is not designed for competition in mind. Instead, the device provides a variety of skill building features for the user to practice ball control skills including rails, tracks, exaggerated surface areas, scoops, ridges, grooves, ramps, undulations, textures (bumps, serrations, etc), holes, platforms, cups, and springy meshes. The combination of these features on the device allows the user to practice combinations of “freestyle” skills and tricks to improve hand eye coordination using the device with a ball.

摘要: A practice target that includes: a front face; a rear face; a side face with a plurality of pockets, including first and second sets of pockets into which are disposed first and second sets of magnets. The first and second sets of magnets are identical in shape but are oriented opposite each other so that when the practice targets are stacked they have mutual attraction instead of being repelled by like magnets. The magnets include notches/cutouts/protrusions/etc. that match with similar structures in the pockets to hold them in place in the pockets. There are off-center pin holes through the magnets that make sure that they are oriented correctly during injection molding. There are netting grooves between the plurality of pockets and a tether aperture with a tether for attaching to a net.

摘要: A residual anaerobic work capacity calculating method includes a step (S1) of obtaining a heart rate, and a step (S2, S3) of calculating a residual anaerobic work capacity based on the obtained heart rate and a relationship between the residual anaerobic work capacity and the heart rate. This method need only measure the heart rate when calculating the residual anaerobic work capacity, and obviates the need to measure power by using an expensive power meter.
