摘要: Filter device (1) for filtering extruded polymers comprising a containment body (2) defining at least one cavity (3), an inlet opening (4) in fluid communication with the cavity (3) via a respective inlet conduit (5), and an outlet opening (6) in fluid communication with the cavity (3) via a respective outlet conduit (7), and a support body (8) slidably inserted in the cavity (3) and interposed between the respective inlet conduit (5) and the respective outlet conduit (7) and having a seat (9) for housing a filter assembly (10) consisting of two perforated disks (11) and a filter screen located between the two perforated disks (11). The seat (9) has an inlet section (13a) having dimensions equal to an outlet mouth (5a) of the inlet conduit (5), and an outlet section (12a) with dimensions that are larger than the dimensions of the inlet section (13a) and equal to a maximum extension of an inlet mouth (7a) of the outlet conduit (7).
The support body (8) is slidably movable in the cavity (3) along a main direction of movement (L) so as to produce different partializations of the perforated disk (11) associated with the outlet section (12a) of the seat (9).-

摘要: A fuel filtration system and methods controlling, and operating a fuel filtration system. A first fuel filter head is fluidly coupled to one or more first fuel filters, a second fuel filter head is fluidly coupled to one or more second fuel filters and a selector valve is coupled to the first fuel filter head and the second fuel filter head. The selector valve includes a primary valve inlet port, a primary valve outlet port, and a movable valve body movable from a first position to a second position. The first position fluidly couples the first fuel filter head to the primary valve outlet port and fluidly decouples the second fuel filter head from the primary valve outlet port. The second position fluidly couples the second fuel filter head to the primary valve outlet port and fluidly decouples the first fuel filter head from the primary valve outlet port.

摘要: A self-contained, portable, waste water evaporating apparatus is shown. A solar-operated submersible pump pumps waste water from just under the surface of a waste water pit, through a pair of automatic backflushing filters and out misters located around the bank of the waste water pit. At a predetermined pressure across the automatic backflushing filters, the automatic backflushing filters are reverse cycled, one at a time, to backflushing particles back into the waste water pit. Periodically, the misters are purged and/or cleaned to remove particles therefrom. In response to sunlight, solar panels provide DC voltage directly to the submersible pump. If pressure from the submersible pump gets excessive, a pressure relief valve removes the excess pressure.

摘要: A system for distributed utilities including electrical power and water. A generation device is provided for converting an available resource to a desired utility; the resource may be water, in which case the generator is a purifier for purifying untreated water, or, alternatively, the generator may convert a fuel to electrical power. In either case, an input sensor is provided for measuring input to the generation device, while an output sensor is provided for measuring consumption of output from the generation device. The monitoring system has a controller for concatenating measured input and consumption of output on the basis of the input and output sensors. Measured parameters are telemetered to a remote site where utility generation and use are monitored and may also be controlled. At least a portion of the electrical power capacity of the electric generation unit may power a water purification unit such as a vapor compression distillation unit, and heat output of the electric generation unit may supply heat to the water purification unit.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention are directed toward a novel pressurized vapor cycle for distilling liquids. In some embodiments of the invention, a liquid purification system is revealed, including the elements of an input for receiving untreated liquid, a vaporizer coupled to the input for transforming the liquid to vapor, a head chamber for collecting the vapor, a vapor pump with an internal drive shaft and an eccentric rotor with a rotatable housing for compressing vapor, and a condenser in communication with the vapor pump for transforming the compressed vapor into a distilled product. Other embodiments of the invention are directed toward heat management, and other process enhancements for making the system especially efficient.

摘要: A method of filtering contaminants from a fluid is disclosed. A feedstream of fluid containing contaminants is directed into a filter chamber containing a filter element. Part of the feedstream fluid flows in one of: a forward flow direction where it passes in a first direction through a wall of the filter element; and a reverse flow direction where it passes in a second, opposite direction through the wall. The filtrate is directed into a flowline for collection. The feedstream fluid is then arranged to flow through the filter element in the other direction, to remove contaminant material from a surface of the element wall. Following removal of contaminant material, the feedstream fluid is continued to be directed through the wall of the filter element in said other direction, to filter out contaminants from the fluid during flow in said other direction.

摘要: A filter unit comprising an inlet (12) and an outlet (13) for a flow medium to be filtered, a first filter cartridge (14) having a first filter element, a second filter cartridge (15) having a second filter element, and a switching device (16) which allows alternating filter operation of the first or the second filter cartridge (14, 15). It is proposed that the first filter cartridge be a main cartridge (14) with a fine first filter element and the second filter cartridge be an auxiliary cartridge (15) with a coarse second filter element. The pressure loss in the auxiliary cartridge (15) is set to the same threshold value as a contaminated main cartridge (14), at which the differential pressure switch triggers an alarm such that during changing of the main filter, the alarm continuously sounds and is only switched off after changing the filtering back to a fine filtering operation.
