The device comprises programmable means (EU) which individually control the said pipettes (1) and respective electrovalves (4) and which, depending on the formulation programmed to realize a dye bath, operate the automatic subdivision or selection of the electrovalves (4) in two groups. A first group of electrovalves (4) initially connect the respective bottles (6) with the corresponding pipettes (1) through the ducts (5) and (7), as the electrovalves (4) of the second group, and in a subsequent step connect the respective pipettes (1) with the dosing head (8) through the ducts (5) and (9) and then restore the individual links once the dosing is completed; the electrovalves (4) of the second group constantly maintain the connection between the respective pipettes (1) and the corresponding bottles (6).

    摘要: In accordance with the present invention there is provided a dispenser apparatus for dispensing fluids. The dispenser apparatus includes a centrally located vertically mounted column assembly. A plurality of canisters is cantilever mounted to the column assembly. Each canister has a receptacle for holding a fluid and each receptacle includes a corresponding pump for dispensing fluid held therein. The dispenser apparatus also includes a stationary dispensing station having a mechanism for selectively actuating the pump for dispensing fluid held in the receptacle. A mechanism is also provided for engaging a portion of a canister to align a pump corresponding to a receptacle to the stationary dispensing station, wherein the fluid held in the receptacle may be dispensed.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method of dispensing accurately small amounts of high viscosity lubricant components using tubeless positive-displacement liquid-handling equipment for forming lubricant blends. The method includes the steps of: providing a low void volume positive displacement pipette with a tapered tip for each lubricant component contained within a lubricant additive reservoir, and one or more lubricant blend containers; ingesting into a low void volume positive displacement pipette from a lubricant additive reservoir an ingestion volume of a lubricant component; moving the low void volume positive displacement pipette from the lubricant additive reservoir to the one or more lubricant blend containers; ejecting into the one or more lubricant blend containers an ejection volume of the lubricant component from the low void volume positive displacement pipette; returning the low void volume positive displacement pipette from the one or more lubricant blend containers to the additive reservoir; and repeating these steps for each additional lubricant component. The advantages of the method of the present invention include improved dispensing accuracy, quicker dispensing, lower shear rate during dispensing, lower temperature for dispensing, less residual additive on the tip of the device after dispensing, and the ability to real time monitor density and mass during dispensing. The method finds application in laboratory test environments, and in particular in high throughput testing environments.

    摘要: In accordance with the present invention there is provided novel and unique automatic and manual colorant and hair dye dispensers that are easy to operate and provides precision mixing of a large number of colorants and hair dye to make an almost infinite number of colors. The machines are relatively light in weight, easy to operate and maintain and the various components can be readily and easily replaced. In the colorant dispenser this is principally due to the fact that the colorant canisters are supported by a central column and the conventional use of a massive turntable supporting the canisters have been eliminated. In both the automatic and manual illustrated embodiments there is shown six (6) pie-shaped triangular canister units (dispensing units) each including three (3) separate colorant receptacles.
