Abstract: In exemplary embodiments of the present invention, various novel dispensing devices can be provided. Such devices can involve a range of sprayer heads and sprayer/foamer systems incorporating such heads. Novel sprayer/foamer heads can include buffers of various types. By using a buffer, a user need not continually be pumping the device in order for the device to be spraying or foaming. In exemplary embodiments of the present invention, such a buffer can be spring loaded, spring loaded combination, elastomeric or gas. In exemplary embodiments of the present invention, the buffer can be in line or adjacent to a piston chamber. If adjacent, it can be connected to the piston chamber with a one way valve, to provide for spray after a downstroke of the piston has been completed, or without, to allow spraying to cease once a user releases the trigger or other actuator. In exemplary embodiments of the present invention, such novel sprayers and foamers can be mounted upside down, in various “Flairomop” devices, used to clean floors or the like. When using a buffer, a piston chamber can be designed to deliver greater amount of liquid per unit time than can be possibly dispensed through the nozzle or nozzles. The fraction of liquid that cannot be sent through the nozzle(s), due to their inherent restriction, can thus be sent to the buffer for dispensing after the piston downstroke has been completed. A volume of the piston chamber, a volume of the buffer, a pressure response of the buffer, the throughput of the nozzle, and the minimum opening pressure of the outlet valve can be arranged to restrict the outlet pressures of liquid droplets exiting the nozzle within a defined range.

Abstract: Disclosed is the invention of a pump dispenser wherein a deformation prevention locking part induces a chaplet to move in the axial direction in a housing at the time of rotation of a head part, thereby allowing or restricting an operation of pressing a head part while preventing the deforming of an elastic member. The disclosed pump dispenser comprises: a cap part fastened to a container; a housing which is provided at the cap part and in which a content stored in the container remains in a dischargeable state; a shaft received in the housing so as to be movable in the axial direction, the shaft including a head part for discharging the content remaining in the housing to the outside through a pressing operation by an external force; a chaplet provided in the housing such that the shaft is inserted so as to be able to extend therethrough, the chaplet allowing or blocking the movement of the shaft on the basis of the angle of rotation of the head part; an elastic member provided on the circumference surface of the shaft and elastically supporting the chaplet and the head part; and a deformation prevention locking part for inducing the chaplet to move in the axial direction in the housing at the time of rotation of the head part, thereby allowing or restricting an operation of pressing the head part while preventing the deformation of the elastic member.

Abstract: The present invention is an improved nozzle for spraying viscous substances which includes the following key elements: (1) the nozzle includes a round hole at the nozzle middle-center location; and (2) the center round hole is surrounded by five circumferential modified trapezoid shaped hole openings, with each of the modified trapezoid shaped hole openings having a pair of divergent sidewalls with an arcuate top wall and a smaller acuate bottom wall and set at a distance separated from each other at seventy-two degrees in a circle around the center opening. The distance from the center of each circumferential opening to the middle center opening is also the same. The present invention will enable the spraying of heavy viscous substances and gels.
