    摘要: A separating device for separating crop from a mixture with admixtures has a drop stage and a conveying device supplying the mixture to the drop stage. The mixture is falling in the drop stage and the drop stage effects loosening of the mixture. A retaining element is arranged downstream of the drop stage so as to face the mixture falling in the drop stage, wherein downstream of the retaining element the crop and the solid bodies separated from the mixture are transported farther as separated individual parts in substantially opposite conveying directions. An air stream interacts with the retaining element and exits as a discharged air stream from the retaining element. A functional unit extends substantially above the retaining element and interacts at least partially with the discharged air stream and produces one or more partial air streams. The partial air streams are controllable by the functional unit.

    摘要: An air classifier having an upright housing open at both ends in which a pipe section is concentrically located to define a first annular passage closed at its upper end. A feed conduit attached to a pneumatic delivery system is concentrically located within the pipe section defining a second annular passage open at both ends. A cover is mounted over the upper end of the housing defining a dispersing chamber for bulk material. The dispersed material falls through the second passage, beyond the lower end of the pipe into an annular chamber where the components are separated by an air stream moving upwardly. The heavier particles falls and the lighter particle travel with the upward air.

    摘要: A particle separator physically separates a mixture of small and large particles and metal particles which are suspended in a stream of air into discrete groups of small particles, large particles and metal particles. The particle separator includes a chamber having a bottom and including an inverted truncated cone. The cone includes an upper skirt which forms a seal with the inner wall of the chamber and an aperture in the lower end. The cone divides the chamber into upper and lower compartments. An inlet duct extends through the wall of the chamber into the upper compartment of the chamber. A filter plate is positioned within the lower compartment of the chamber and includes a first side surface which forms a seal with the inner wall of the chamber and a second side surface which forms a seal with the wall of the cone. The structure of the filter defines an intermediate compartment in the upper portion of the lower compartment. An outlet duct extends throught the wall of the chamber into the intermediate compartment. A blower is coupled to the separator and produces a flow of air from the inlet duct through the upper compartment and through the aperture in the cone into the lower compartment, through the filter into the intermediate compartment and out through the inlet duct. A valve in the bottom of the chamber removes large particles from the chamber.

    摘要: A method and apparatus is provided for separating heavier particulate material from a mixture of light particulate material, heavy particulate material and gas. The apparatus includes a vessel having an outlet at a lower portion thereof wherein particulate material flows toward the outlet and is contacted by countercurrent flow of gas for uplifting of lighter particles of particulate material. Heavy particulate material and some light particulate material is then collected in a chamber of a valve wherein sequential injections of gas in a lower portion of the chamber further separates light particulate material from the heavy particulate material with the remaining particulate material in the chamber being discharged by sequential operation of the valve.
