摘要: A nozzle for water jet equipment and a method of use thereof. The nozzle has a body including a base with a shaft extending outwardly therefrom. The shaft is inserted through a bore of a sleeve that rotatable about the shaft. The base and shaft define a bore therein. At least one opening is defined in the shaft and one or more grooves are milled into the shaft's exterior surface. Each opening places the body's bore in fluid communication with one of the grooves and the sleeve's bore. Water flowing through the body's bore will flow through each opening, into the associated groove and into a space between the shaft and sleeve. The grooves create turbulence in water in this space and thereby reduce leakage from the nozzle. The shaft terminates in a conical section usable as a battering ram to break up blockages in pipes during cleaning operations.

摘要: A hydrodynamic tool for the cleaning of pipes and channels exhibits a pressurized water-entry inlet opening (2) connected to pressurized water-discharge outlet openings (4) through water guide channels (3). The water guide channels (3) are continuously connected to the pressurized water-entry inlet opening (2) with a hose connection (2a). The water guide channels (3) exhibit a largest possible deflection radius (r) and partially converge into one another. At least two water guide channels (3) rest with the innermost point of the diameter (d.sub.W1) at the center point (M) and with their outermost point of the diameter (d.sub.W1) at the outer diameter (d.sub.E) of the pressurized water-entry inlet opening (2). The water guide channels (3), corresponding to the arrangement of the pressurized water-discharge outlet openings (4), are either merging into the end of the deflection radius (r) or into the straight line region (3.G) and in an angle (.alpha.) to the respective pressurized water-discharge outlet openings (4).

摘要: A sewer cleaning module for cleaning sewer pipes in preparation for relining. The module is assembled in situ and the relative size of components is selected depending upon the diameter of the pipeline. The module may comprise a front unit and rear unit or a frame assembly and a drive assembly. The modules contain a motor, preferably a hydraulic motor. The motor drives flails, thereby disintegrating solid waste or generating and propelling a sludge slurry. The slurry scours the pipeline walls by cavitation and abrasion action. Also disclosed are systems for cleaning a sewage line section and methods of their use.

摘要: A hydrodynamic apparatus for cleaning channels and for monitoring channels is provided for pipes and channels. A disadvantage of all conventional bottom floor cleaners, flushing heads, and channel-cleaning nozzles is that during the cleaning process no observation and determination of the soiling state or, respectively, of the cleaning state of the channel and no recognition of damaged areas in the channel is possible. According to the invention, a monitoring unit (6) is installed selectively in or at the channel-cleaning apparatus. For this purpose, for example, a hollow space (11) is furnished at the bottom floor cleaner (S), wherein the monitoring unit (6) is partly integrated into the hollow space (11). The monitoring unit (6) exhibits a camera module (7) or two camera modules (7a and 7b). A video emitter (15) is coordinated to each camera module (7). The transmission to a video receiver (V) is performed without cable wireless from the video emitter (15). The cleaning process can be followed in a monitor (M). As desired, also ballast material (12) can be filled into the hollow space (11).

摘要: A cleaning module for cleaning sewer pipes including sewer liner, and other types of conduits. The cleaning module may comprise a single hydraulically propelled unit, wedge-shaped and selected to fit pipe size. Pipeline walls are scoured by the slurry agitation produced by hydraulic pressure jets in the module. Alternatively, the module is assembled in situ and the relative size of components is selected depending upon the diameter of the pipeline. A system for cleaning pipelines is described which utilities and recycles, as a solid waste transport medium, nearly one hundred percent of the extracted liquid waste. The mobile extractor and separator unit comprises a separator for separating sludge waste from liquid and particulate waste, and for separating liquid waste from particulate waste. The mobile extractor and separator unit of the present invention also employs gravity and a conveyor belt or screw auger to transport the sludge waste.

摘要: A pipeline pig for pigging a fluid transporation pipeline, especially one in which a cable or other line is permanently deployed, comprises on a central tubular shaft an array of radial-bristle planar brushes which are spaced apart in planes normal to the axis of the shaft by spacers, and in some cases by groups of sail cloth diaphragms secured between spacers. The brush bristles comprise resilient plastics filaments (preferably nylon) coated with an abrasive material such as carborundum, and have a radial length such that when the pig is inserted in a pipeline, the bristles are deflected and curved rearwardly so that a substantial part of each bristle lies in contact with the internal surface of the pipeline. The leading end of the pig may comprise a deflector cone to facilitate passage of the pig past a cable deployed in a pipeline. The sail cloth diaphragms may be provided with radially extending pleats.
