摘要: A load-applying device of a press-forming die includes a rod which includes a first end, a second end, and a flange, a lamination coned disc spring in which a plurality of coned disc springs having a center hole, to which the first end of the rod is inserted, are laminated, a first plate which includes a first through hole to which the first end of the rod is inserted and abuts the lamination coned disc spring, a second plate which includes a second through hole to which the second end of the rod is inserted and abuts the flange; and a gap fixing member which is detachably provided between the first plate and the second plate and fixes a gap between the first plate and the second plate so as to maintain the gap by which the lamination coned disc spring biases the flange to the second plate. The second end and the first plate relatively move in a mutually approaching direction during press-forming, and the lamination coned disc spring is compressed.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a vehicle wheel includes the steps of providing a wheel rim and a spider and holding the spider inside the wheel rim. The wheel rim and the spider are positioned in a high capacity forming machine. At least one of a portion of the wheel rim located adjacent an outer periphery of the spider and a portion of the outer periphery of the spider is permanently deformed towards the other of the wheel rim and the spider thereby securing the wheel rim to the spider. An apparatus for securing the wheel rim to the spider includes a bottom die, a bottom inside rim stabilizer supported on the bottom die, a spider supported on the bottom inside rim stabilizer, a top inside rim stabilizer and a wheel rim supported by the bottom rim stabilizer and the top inside rim stabilizer. A high capacity forming machine encircles the wheel rim. The high capacity forming machine includes a workpiece which at least sometimes contacts the wheel rim and an electric circuit located adjacent the workpiece. A capacitor bank is electrically connected to the electric circuit of the high capacity forming machine. A switching circuit is electrically connected between the capacitor bank and the electric circuit for regulating a discharge of electricity from the capacitor bank into the circuit. The workpiece of the high capacity forming machine is capable of delivering a forming velocity of at least 10 m/second. A typical workpiece is either a resilient wall of an electrohydraulic device or a compression coil of an electromagnetic device.

摘要: A drawing device in a press is proposed which serves to draw shaped sheet-metal parts. In order to achieve optimum force support of the sheet holder (6), the pressure cheek (8) is regulated in a vertically adjustable manner by a four-point control system known per se. In addition to this, vertically adjustable bolts (7) having drives (15) are provided, in order to permit a specific local application of force to the sheet holder (6). This is controlled or regulated by displacement sensors (16) and force sensors (17).
