    摘要: Devices, systems, and methods are provided for controlling a quantity of cutting fluid dispensed for a cutting tool within a CNC or other machining system. The devices, systems, and methods may include controlling multiple fluids such that coolant, lubricant, or other fluids can be delivered at different locations, at different flow rates, have their flow rates changed independently, and/or have their flow rates changed dynamically during a machining operation. In some embodiments, a feedback loop or input may be provided to obtain and/or provide information regarding the machining operation—such as cutting force, cutting temperature, cutting friction, machining operation, tool in use, work piece geometry, and/or material—and automatically and/or independently modify the fluid flow rates. The fluid may be atomized with air or other gases to minimize the quantities of fluid used. Components in the system may be modular to allow the system to be used with existing and new machining technologies.

The system comprises at least one oscillating unit, an electronic unit for applying at least control and/or feedback signals to the at least one oscillating unit, an operating power unit for providing electric power to the electronic unit, a storage tank for the lubricating fluid, and at least one nozzle associated with the at least one oscillating unit for feeding and atomizing the lubricating fluid in a tool working area. A fluid feed line connects the storage tank to a capillary feed of the lubricating fluid to the oscillating unit, and at least one fluid channel at least partially runs through the oscillating unit to connect the oscillating unit to the nozzle for pulsing the lubricating fluid.

    摘要: A cutting liquid supply device in a machine tool is configured to remove gas mixed in a cutting liquid supply line to improve the response of discharging a mist of cutting liquid. Cutting liquid is supplied from a pump (42) through a rotary joint (28) to a mist generation device (24) within a rotating spindle (29). The pressure of the cutting liquid is measured by a pressure sensor (47). An air vent device (30) for opening and closing, with respect to atmospheric pressure, piping (3) that supplies the cutting liquid is provided above the rotary joint (28). A detection signal is inputted in the control board (70) from the pressure sensor (47), and when the control board (70) detects, after the pump (42) stops the supply of the cutting liquid to the piping (3), that the pressure of the cutting liquid does not decrease to a level lower than a predetermined threshold value, the control board (70) instructs the air vent device (30) to open the piping (4) to the atmosphere.

    摘要: A working method and a device for smoothing gearwheels may be operated cost-effectively and in an environmentally friendly way and enables a simple method sequence and device construction. The device for performing the working method is equipped with at least one smoothing wheel, similar to a gearwheel, that acts radially on a gearwheel to be smoothed and that may be engaged with and disengaged from the wheel to be smoothed. A spray nozzle generates a fine spray mist of lubricant such as oil. The spray mist is sprayable in the form of a minimal quantity of lubrication onto the operating region of the gearwheel to be smoothed and/or onto the smoothing wheel.
