    摘要: A tool holder transmission structure of a stone chamfering machine which is mainly characterized in that a transmission motor is installed at downward offset position inside the frame of the stone chamfering machine, whereof the transmission gear installed on the spindle of the said motor is through the bottom cut slot of the centered convex block at side plate of the frame to engage with the bottom tool driven gear of the multi-axis tool holder, whereby through rotation of the tool holder, different tool driven gear can be changed to engage with the motor transmission gear. Therefore, it is particularly useful to select different tools for stone chamfering operation according to practical needs.

    摘要: Disclosed are a computer numerically controlled machine and methods for forming, grinding, or dressing cutting tools in a computer numerically controlled machine. In some embodiments, the computer numerically controlled machine is provided with a cutting tool and an abrasive surface. The abrasive surface is brought into contact with the cutting tool to abrade material from the cutting tool in a grinding or dressing operation. In certain embodiments, it is not necessary to remove the cutting tool from the computer numerically controlled machine for dressing. In some non-mutually-exclusive embodiments, the machine is provided with tool blanks, from which cutting tools are prepared using an abrasive surface in the machine.

    摘要: Disclosed are a machine with a grinding wheel and a dressing surface and related method. The dressing surface is movable in at least two axes of translation relative to the grinding wheel.     摘要: A buffing head (34) includes a rotary element (36) for retaining an optical disc (20) and causing the disc (20) to rotate at a first speed. A buffing element (38) contacts a work surface (30) of the optical disc (20), and rotation of the disc (20) enables corresponding movement of the buffing element (38). A restrictor (40), in communication with the buffing element (38), restricts movement of the buffing element (38) so that the buffing element (38) moves at a second speed to recondition the work surface (30), the second speed being slower than the first speed. The buffing head (34) further includes a well (86) surrounding the buffing element (38) and containing a fluid (88). Movement of the buffing element (38) causes the buffing element (38) to be immersed into the fluid (88) and to be returned into contact with the work surface (30).

    摘要: A grinder performs operations ranging from rough grinding to mirror-like finishing of the whole of an elongate peripheral surface of a work rotated around the central longitudinal axis thereof by pressing a grindstone to the work and by shifting the grindstone along the longitudinal direction of the central rotary axis of the work. By providing a rotor on the carriage adapted to move in parallel with the longitudinal axis of the work to be ground and by fixing grindstones different from each other in grain size to a plurality of rotating shafts fixed to the rotor, respectively, a grindstone in desired grain size is, upon rotation of the rotor, selectively brought into contact with the work. The grindstone that has been in contact with the work is rotated by a drive and, at the same time, the pressing force to act upon the work is imparted to the grindstone by a presser. Thus, the work is ground throughout the elongate peripheral surface thereof with the grindstone being pressed thereagainst by the presser and being shifted therealong by the drive.
