    摘要: A quick release structure for a woodworking clamp, which has a clamp body slidingly connected to the transverse rod, and the securing chuck having a securing rod disposed through a securing hole of the transverse rod. One side of the securing chuck is formed with an accommodating portion, both sides of the accommodating portion are connected to a quick release element, a positioning shaft respectively is disposed on the quick release element, the positioning shaft is placed through the shaft aperture; an outer surface of the quick release element is provided with a pressing portion. When the quick release element is connected into the accommodating portion, by compressing the elastic element, the securing rod is driven to release from the securing hole. When the pressing portion is not pressed, the elastic element bounces back to retract the quick release element to secure the securing chuck onto the transverse rod.

    摘要: The invention relates to a clamping device (1), particularly a machine vice (1), having a body element (2), a jaw (3) immovably attached thereto, and an oppositely placed movable jaw, for the displacement of which a drawbar (4) is provided, wherein the drawbar (4) is furnished with a bearing member on which the movable jaw is supported by means of a compression bar, and the movable bar is configured so that it may be arrested with the compression bar at varying distances from the fixed jaw, and a force amplifying arrangement (5) acting on the spindle is provided. The object of the present invention is to describe a clamping device that is as compactly configured as possible. The object is solved with a clamping device (1) according to the definition of the species wherein the force amplifying arrangement (5) includes at least one cylindrical tube (9) and at least two plungers (10, 11) that are movable in concentric cylinders, an outer compression plunger (10) and a clamping plunger (11)nullpreferably attached to the drawbar (4) by a plunger rodnulland wherein two compression chambers are provided, an outer, low-pressure chamber (12) and a high-pressure chamber (14) acting on the clamping plunger (11) from the direction of the drawbar, wherein a functional connection is established between the two plungers in such manner that at least one rod (18) having a smaller diameter than the diameter of the plungers and which is connected to the outer compression plunger (10) acts on the high-pressure chamber (14), which is filled with pressurising medium, preferably oil or liquid grease.

    摘要: An improved clamp assembly includes a first clamp jaw having a plurality of incremental teeth on a lower surface which selectively mate with teeth on a clamp body. The teeth on the first clamp jaw end at one end at a tooth root and at the other end on an incline beyond and above the predetermined location of a tooth root. In this way, the first clamp jaw may be reversed to provide fine control over the incremental adjustable position of the first clamp jaw relative to the clamp body. In another feature of the present invention the other clamp jaw is a wedge-type clamp jaw having a threaded member with two enlarged portions received in a bore in the clamp jaw. The enlarged portions ensure that the threaded member is effective to move the wedge clamp jaw upwardly and downwardly relative to the clamp body. This is an improvement over prior art wedge-type clamp jaws which required complicated spring arrangements.

    摘要: The invention concerns an adjustable precision grinding and machinist vise which has a novel mechanism for precisely clamping metal pieces, tools, and other articles between a movable jaw and a stationary jaw. The vise is made such that it can be mounted on larger machines such as lathes, drills, milling machines, surface grinders and the like. The device employs a series of notches in the base as a guide means to stabilize clamping. A pin engages, at its lower end, a guide with opposite flanges which guide also has a central wedge with an arcuate load bearing surface. The pin extends through a rotatable clamp disposed within an angling shoulder on the movable jaw. The pin is disposed through the movable jaw and into a chamber in the base for engagement in the guide means to thereby insure precise positioning. Threadably tightening the pin into the guide snugs either the arcuate upper surface of the wedge or the arcuate upper surface of the flanges, or both into engagement with an upper surface of the chamber in the base. The rotatable clamp and wedge (as well as flanges) allow rotation such that the movable jaw moves toward the stationary jaw of the vise upon tightening.

    摘要: A workpiece supporting and clamping assembly includes a generally rigid base frame including a spaced apart parallel pair of elongated frame members having a pair of elongated top members mounted on the spaced apart frame members and extending generally transversely thereto. The top members have upper work supporting surfaces lying in a common plane and longitudinally extending opposed side portions defining clamping surfaces. Extensible and retractable clamping means are interconnected between the base frame and one of the top members for moving the latter along the frame members toward or away from the other top member to provide for clamping of the workpiece between the top members. The other top member is indexable along the elongated frame members to any one of a plurality of selected positions thereby to accommodate varying sizes of workpieces. This indexing arrangement enables said other top member to be quickly positioned relative to the first top member approximately in accordance with the relevant dimensions of a workpiece to be clamped or secured between the top members. The apparatus may be supported on a conventional work table or work bench or, alternatively, may be supported on a lightweight, collapsible support stand.
