摘要: A trimmer improver comprises: a blade holder, of which one side is formed with a guide groove and at least one blade groove that aligns with the guide groove; at least one blade, being detachably and correspondingly arranged in the blade groove, of which the end is exposed to the blade groove; and a cover, of which the outer margin aligns with the upper edge of at least one blade groove to close the blade holder. Accordingly, with various types of blades replaceable, the trimmer improver is provided for much more effectively trimming the skins of the wood product made of different materials.

摘要: An edge modification apparatus for the modification of at least part of edge of a panel. An edge follower with an edge contact roller to follow at least part of the profile of the panel. A support structure to allow movement of the edge follower relative to the panel. An edge sensor capable of determining the slope of the profile of the edge. A force applicator to apply a vectored force to the edge follower to press the at least one contact roller onto the edge of the panel. The force applicator is such that the resultant force to the edge follower is in a direction to press the at least one contact roller onto the edge and substantially not along the edge (save for optionally a very small component in the direction of travel of the edge follower along the profile) wherein relative movement between the edge follower and the planar object induces movement of the edge follower. The edge follower modifies the edge of the panel.

Said treatment unit comprises a suction hood (6) with a ring (17) that encircles the tool (1) completely in the circumferential direction and at least partially in the axial direction. The suction hood (6) is located on the side of the drive spindle of the tool (1). A chip receiving opening (10) is provided in the tool (1) in the vicinity of the blade (4), said opening traversing the tool (1) in both the axial and the radial direction. A chip formed at the blade (4) is transported through the chip receiving opening (10) to the suction hood (6) from where the chip is removed by air suction.

摘要: In an edge gluing machine, a milling device (6) with a rotating milling tool (9) is provided for shaping the corners (7,8) of the projecting edge bands (14), its pivoting device (11) being arranged on a vertically adjustable housing (15). During the adjustment of the bridge (2) to the respective thickness of workpiece (3), the housing (15) is adjusted vertically by a displacing member (18) and by means of a limit switch (28,29) such that the pivot axis (11') of pivoting device (11) is located in the center of workpiece (3). A linear path control activatable by a light barrier causes the milling tool (9) to be positioned at half the thickness of the workpiece from the leading or trailing narrow surface of workpiece (3). The position of the pivot axis (11') is thereby determined such that a perfect machining of the corners (7,8) is ensured.

The method comprises the step of disposing the bulkstock in a first fixture for securing said bulkstock. A first general radial exterior surface is then formed. The bulkstock is then disposed in a second fixture for securing the bulkstock. Finally, a second generally radial posterior surface is formed on the bulkstock. Additional fixtures which are disclosed wherein may also be used.

摘要: A trimmer apparatus and method for utilizing the same is presented which includes a cutting assembly formed from a quadrangular frame which is pivotally joined to a stand and a laminated object is moved therealong on a support in a lineal path whereby the edge of the laminate is trimmed to the contour of the substrate. The quandrangular cutting assembly frame allows the cutting blade to move in an arcuate path for trimming rounded ends of table tops or the like.

摘要: A power tool for trimming laminate having a motor, a motor housing, interchangeable bases, and a clamping ring. The motor housing has a lower portion having a smaller diameter than that of the rest of the housing. The clamping ring extends from and over the base and clamps around the lower portion of the motor housing. The interchangeable bases are formed as a trim router, laminate trimmer, offset trimmer, and tilt base trimmer, all of which clamp onto the lower portion of the motor housing so that the same motor can be used with any of the bases. The motor housing is also rotatable relative to the base into any one of a plurality of relative angular positions without affecting depth of cut of a bit.

摘要: A fixture for a router for permitting one end of a finishing tool extending therethrough to be moveable along a radius edge of a countertop for trimming such edge off of the countertop. The fixture includes a base member adapted to be attached to the front surface of a router housing and includes a central front flange rigidly connected to the base member and extending from the base member out toward one end of the finishing tool. Because of the configuration of the fixture, there will be a clearance between the outer edge of the front surface of the router housing and the countertop when the rounded front edge of the central flange is moved along the radius of the countertop while a cylindrical guide surface on the front end of the finishing tool is on the top of the countertop and the cutting edge of the finishing tool trims off a portion of the top front edge of the countertop.
