    摘要: A mobile construction plant includes two sets of low-profile bins: one set containing granular materials and the other set containing powdery materials. Each of the bins is mounted on a weighing mechanism that pre-weighs the contents before mixing. An elongated dual shaft mixer having a small bore diameter is located below the bins. A set of belt conveyors is provided for transporting materials from the granular material bins to the mixer, and a blending auger is provided for transporting materials from the powdered material bins to the mixer. All of the bins, the conveyors, the blending auger, the mixer, and other components are supported on a small footprint frame that can easily be transported to a job site.

    摘要: The disclosure relates to a portable system for distributing building materials comprising a motor vehicle which can be in the form of a truck. Disposed on a flat bed of the truck is at least one container coupled to the motor vehicle. The container can include at least one stirrer wherein the stirrer is for stirring a first component in the container. There can be at least one mixer coupled to the motor vehicle wherein the mixer is for mixing at least one liquid component with the component in the container to form a slurry. Once the slurry is formed, it can be fed to at least one distribution feeder which is then used to feed materials to a job site. This system can include a computer for controlling the mixer, and the distribution feeder to control the distribution of this slurry material. The disclosure can also relate to a process for creating the dry mixture, the slurry and then distributing this slurry so as to create a building component such as a floor. This process can be monitored by a computer, wherein the computer can be used to generate a series of reports such as a job report, a quality control report or a bill.

    摘要: An assembly for controlling delivery of material from a bin opening includes a movable bin gate for closing the bin opening and providing a high flow rate of material when the movable gate is open, wherein a low flow aperture is formed in the bin gate to provide a low flow rate of material when the bin gate is positioned such that only the low flow aperture is open. A two-stage flow enhancer within the bin includes a first stage for impelling material in the direction of the low flow aperture and a second stage for impelling material to exit through the low flow aperture. A controller controls operation of the bin gate to adjust a flow rate of material from the bin opening. The controller may include a sensor for providing an actual weight value of material present in a receiving bin and a memory for storing a target weight value for the amount of material in the receiving bin, wherein the controller adjusts the position of the bin gate and the low flow aperture in response to the actual weight value and the target weight value. The bin gate may also be adjusted in response to one or more tolerance values defining proximity to the target weight value and/or in response to one or more threshold weight values, wherein the threshold weight values are less than the target weight value. A method for controlling delivery of material from a bin opening includes the steps of providing at the bin opening a movable bin gate with a low flow aperture and selectively positioning the bin gate using a single actuator to expose only the low flow aperture to the bin opening for material flow or to expose substantially all of the bin opening for material flow.

    摘要: An automatic cementing system and method are disclosed for precisely controlling the density of a slurry during a continuously mixed cement application. The system includes an input water line and a dry cement hopper for supplying water and cement, respectively, to a mixing chamber. The mixing chamber includes two chambers, Chamber A and Chamber B, for thoroughly mixing the water and cement together to form a cement slurry. Chamber B includes a level sensor for measuring the change in slurry level. The input line includes a pump for supplying the water to the mixing chamber, and a flow meter for measuring the rate at which the water is supplied. Similarly, the hopper includes a slide-gate valve for regulating the rate at which the dry cement is supplied to the mixing chamber. A discharge line with a discharge pump and a discharge flow meter receives and discharges cement slurry. A recirculation line is included for density control during initialization. A system controller receives operational parameters from the operator, including desired slurry density, mix water density, and dry cement density. As the slurry discharge rate increases to the desired value, the mix water flow rate increases to maintain the calculated volume percentage of mix water in the discharge slurry constant. The tub level drops, causing the slide-gate valve to open and add cement, raising the tub level to the setpoint level and maintaining an accurate discharge slurry density.
