Abstract:
A compression apparatus for applying a compression force to a stack of filter disks comprising a compression activator and a compression applicator is provided. The compression activator includes a sleeve mounted on a first rod element, a first locking means for locking said sleeve in an upper position on the rod, a second locking means for locking said sleeve on a lower position on the first rod element and a lever for applying a force on said sleeve to move the sleeve along said first rod element. The compression applicator includes a compressible spring mounted on a second rod element, a third locking means for locking the spring in a compressed position when the third locking means is in a lower position on said second rod element. The first rod element and the second rod element are attachable to each other and to a third rod element extending through centrally positioned holes in each of a stack of filter disks, A lever for applying a force and the spring are positioned to apply a compression force on the stack of filter disks when the second locking means is positioned on the lower position on the first rod element. The compression activator and said compression applicator are detachable from each other.
Abstract:
A manually operable press comprises a manually pivotable actuating lever for effecting a forward press stroke and a return stroke of a press slide. A mechanical return stroke interlock inhibits a return movement of the press before the press slide has come to a lower end position of the press stroke. A cam plate within said return stroke interlock is connected for being pivoted together with the actuating lever. The cam plate has a groove-shaped guide cam provided with a plurality of lock protrusions. A spring-biased lock pin runs along the guide cam and is adapted to run freely along the guide ram in an operational direction but is inhibited by the lock protrusions within the guide cam from running in a direction opposite the operational direction. An opening each is provided in the guide cam at the lock protrusions. Unlocking pins are provided in each of the openings. The pins are adapted to be actuated from outside the press for bringing the lock pin out of engagement with the lock protrusions thus allowing the lock pin to run in the opposite direction when the unlocking pins are actuated.
Abstract:
A heat applied transfer press includes a support arm for displacing an upper platen with respect to a lower platen mounted on a base. An operator controls movement of the support arm between open and closed positions and preferably includes an aligner for positioning the upper platen substantially parallel to the lower platen as the upper platen approaches the closed position. Preferably, the press also includes an adjuster for varying the distance between the upper and lower platen in the closed position. Preferably, an overcenter locking mechanism retains the press platens in the closed position, while springs resiliently urge the upper platen upwardly to its open position when the handle has been raised to retract the lever mechanism from its overcenter position.
Abstract:
A trolley for collecting waste includes a housing having a main waste chamber for receiving waste, and wheels attached to a bottom wall of the housing. The housing has at least one module seating, each configured to receive a waste module for collecting waste. Each module seating includes fasteners configured to releasably couple to a waste module. The waste module includes a module housing having at its top surface a top opening for inserting waste, and having a module waste chamber for receiving waste inserted through the top opening. The module housing includes second connection means at its outside surface, which are configured to releasably interact with first connection means of a trolley for collecting waste. Also disclosed herein is a system that includes the trolley and at least one waste module inserted into the at least one module seating.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the disclosure set forth an embosser for a die. The embosser includes a frame, a roller body, and a handle. The frame includes two substantially parallel sides. The roller body includes a roller to be in contact with the die. The embosser further includes a first pin pivotally coupling an end of the handle to the sides of the frame, and a second pin pivotally coupled the handle to a first end of the roller body. The second pin further couples the first end of the roller body to the sides of the frame along a first path. The embosser further includes a third pin coupling a second end of the roller body to the sides of the frame along a second path.
Abstract:
A pressing device is disclosed including a housing, a lower engaged to that housing and adapted to receive products to be pressed and an upper platen engaged to the housing and manually translatable with respect to the lower platen. A handle mechanism is connected to the upper platen for translating the upper platen with respect to the lower platen. The handle mechanism includes a resilient over-center locking mechanism for translating the upper platen to a locked position proximate the lower platen, whereupon the upper platen is further translated towards the lower platen independent of manual force.
