摘要: The present invention relates to a process for the production of a cup having a bottom and a sidewall attached to the bottom, wherein the sidewall preferably comprises a rolled rim at its upper edge opposite to the bottom, wherein the sidewall comprises a single layer or a plurality of layers, wherein at least one of the layers is produced from a paper material, carton, plastic, PLA, a renewable and/or a biodegradable resource and or any other comparable material, where-in at least one shaping is shaped into at least one of the layers of the sidewall, wherein the shaping is at least partially ring-shaped, wherein the shaping extends at least partially over the perimeter of the sidewall, wherein the shaping is inwardly or outwardly directed, wherein the shapings are compressed in height such that an edge of each shaping touches an opposite segment of the shaping and/or that both edges of each shaping touch each other and are joined together, and a cup produced by this process.

摘要: A device for forming a groove in a cover, the device including a circular score anvil having a first axis and being rotatable in a first direction and a circular scoring knife having a second axis positioned parallel to the first axis and arranged radially opposite the circular score anvil to define a gap between the score anvil and the scoring knife. The scoring knife is rotatable in a second direction opposite to the first direction and comprises a scoring element having an edge region that is tapered to form a ridge toward a periphery of the element. The edge region includes an intermediate space that divides the edge region into two spaced apart knife edges. A groove is formed in the cover while moving through the gap by operative cooperation of the scoring knife and score anvil.

摘要: A folding unit for corrugated board sheets (18) in in-line manufacturing of corrugated board boxes, comprising a pair of parallel and laterally displaceable folding beams (1, 2) with a respective endless conveyor belt (3, 4), which extend from the inlet (19) of the folding unit to a pair of rolls (14) at the outlet (20) of the folding unit. A pair of folding rules (6) are arranged under the respective folding beams (1, 2) and extend from the inlet (19) of the folding unit and towards, but not all the way to, the outlet (20) of the folding unit. A pair of folding bars (33, 34) which are fixedly positioned outside the respective folding rules (6) and at an angle to the respective folding rules are arranged in the front portion of the folding unit, as seen in the transport direction (15) of the corrugated board sheets (18). A pair of folding belts (7, 8) are arranged under a respective folding beam (1, 2) to cooperate therewith and extend from an associated front deflecting roller (16) after the terminal end of the folding bars (33, 34), as seen in the transport direction (15), to an associated deflecting roller (17) with a horizontal axis substantially adjacent the pair of rolls (14). A post-creaser (81) is positioned under the respective folding beams (1, 2), between the rear end of each folding rule (6), as seen in the transport direction (15), and the associated front deflecting roller (16). Each post-creaser comprises a creasing wheel (82) which is formed as a double-cone and which is rotatably arranged on an adjustable bracket (83) to deform, in cooperation with the associated folding beam (1, 2) and an abutment (90), the beads (75, 76) forming at the folding line (74) as the corrugated board sheet (18) is being folded.

摘要: An in-line method and apparatus for making a corrugated board and carton blanks from the corrugated board include: a laminating station for completing the formation of a corrugated board having a corrugated medium, an inner liner, and a printed outer liner; an adhesive setting station for curing adhesive in the corrugated board; and a creasing, cutting, and scrap removal station for repeatedly forming sets of fold lines and cuts in the corrugated board to make carton blanks. The sets of fold lines and cuts may be formed by rotary or flatbed dies and a control system properly locates the sets of fold lines and cuts and printed matter on the outer liner relative to each other on the carton blanks being formed.

A film web having at least one film layer of a thermoplastic plastic is passed to a hot-embossing device, in which the film web is provided with a line-shaped embossing. The film web is then passed to a laser beam device, in which the film web is provided with a line-shaped laser seam. The embossing and the laser seam cover each other and jointly form the weakening line.
