摘要： A binder for artists to record and retrieve color formulations comprises a plurality of sheets of paper that are adapted to accept both paint and text that relates to the specifics of a particular paint formula. Paint impermeable interleafing sheets are positioned between and overlie the respective sheets of paper to prevent bleeding between adjacent sheets. The sheets of paper and the interleafing sheets are adapted to be positioned between a front cover and a rear cover. The sheets of paper, the interleafing sheets, and the front cover and the rear cover are connected to a binding that holds the foregoing together. The sheets of paper are constructed and arranged to be removed and reinserted into the binding between the adjacent glassine interleafing sheets so that reinsertion after use, the applied paint can dry without smudging or contaminating adjacent sheets of paper.

In one embodiment, the invention is a sheet system including one or more sheets of paper having a generally rectangular body and a tab coupled to and protruding outwardly from the body, wherein the tab is co-planar with the body. In one case the tab and body are unitary and made of a single piece of paper. In some embodiments an unbound set of tabbed sheets may be provided. In other embodiments the system further includes a front cover, a rear cover, and a binding mechanism binding the front cover, rear cover, and the one or more sheets of paper together. In this embodiment the one or more sheets of paper and/or the front cover and/or rear cover may be tabbed.

Second, the member adds structural rigidity to the bound document when placed vertically on a shelf by making the coil more rigid.

The label includes an indicia surface that forms a visible, external display of indicia along a longitudinal axis of a notebook binder. The indicia identify and categorize the notebook. The label includes a mounting surface that utilizes an adhesive, clasps, and an elastic cord to attach the label to the notebook. The adhesive adheres to a pair of covers on the notebook for mounting the label to the notebook. The clasp pivots to a clamped position to form a tight clamp on the pair of covers or the binder. The clamp secures the label to the notebook. The elastic cord wraps around the cover to mount the label to the notebook. The label is viewable from an upright position, a flat position, or when multiple notebooks are stacked.
