The vehicle seat including an upper seat element, which can be moved relative to a lower seat element by a first air spring and on which a mass can be arranged The lower and the upper seat element are arranged at a predetermined distance from one another, and the first air spring is fluidically connected to an additional volume of an additional volume module by a first fluid connection. The internal pressure of the first air spring is controllable by the additional volume module.
