    摘要： A vehicle lamp wherein a mounting member 20A for mounting and fixing a lamp unit 11 onto a vehicle body is projected from the outer surface of a synthetic-resin lamp body 12 forming part of the lamp unit 11. The mounting member 20A is formed of synthetic-resin and incorporated into the lamp body 12 by welding. A material greater in strength than the lamp body 12 is used as the material of the mounting member 20A to secure sufficient strength for the mounting member 20A. The quantity H of projection of the mounting member 20A from the outer surface of the lamp body 12 is made smaller than the quantity of projection of any conventional mounting member, so that the depth of a lamp chamber can be set greater.

    摘要： A kit for illuminating chain slots on a trailer includes a plurality of brackets, each having a first arm and a second arm. The second arm is oriented at an angle to the first arm and has a mounting area. A tool is provided for positioning a bracket adjacent a respective chain slot on the trailer and for holding the bracket in place adjacent the chain slot until the bracket is attached to the trailer. The tool has a portion configured to engage with the mounting area of the bracket. Lights are also provided, each light configured to be attached to a respective mounting area of the bracket after the bracket has been attached to the trailer and the portion of the tool has been disengaged from the mounting area. An electrical conductor is configured to connect the plurality of lights to an electrical wiring harness of the trailer.

    摘要： A lamp assembly is provided for installation in an opening of a vehicle body. The lamp assembly includes a lamp container having first and second sides, each of the first and second sides integrally including first and second stops, and at least one clip assembly including a clip, a threaded bolt, and a nut. The clip has a connecting wall with respective first and second side walls extending from the connecting wall, and first and second tabs extending inwardly respectively from the first and second side walls, the threaded bolt being inserted through an opening in the connecting wall of the clip, and the nut being threaded onto the bolt. When the lamp assembly is in a pre-compressed position, the nut is spaced away from the stops, and, when the lamp assembly is in a compressed position, at least one of the nut and the connecting wall contacts the stops.

The tail light assembly is secured to the vehicle body by threaded fasteners which extend from a point externally of the vehicle body through openings in the tail light assembly into threaded engagement with body structure. The cover plate is also secured to the tail light assembly by threaded fastener structure. However, this threaded fastener structure extends from a point within the opening provided for a deck lid and is hidden from external view when the deck lid is closed.
