摘要： A tamper resistant and theft resistant light assembly for a tractor trailer or other vehicle that can be easily installed on the vehicle but cannot be removed without being broken. The light assembly may have one or more flexible projection fingers that deform to allow the light assembly to be mounted on the vehicle body plate by pushing the light assembly into an opening therein, but prevent the light assembly from being removed from the opening. The light assembly has a mounting ring that breaks away from the light assembly if an attempt is made to pry the light assembly out of the opening.

摘要： A vehicle lighting unit sealing structure includes a continuous sealing wall protruding from a rear surface of a housing of a rear combination tail lamp so as to surround bulb sockets supported by the housing, an engagement protrusion positioned outside the sealing wall, the engagement protrusion protruding from the rear surface of the housing so as to extend substantially parallel to the sealing wall, a sheet-like sealing member attached to an end of the sealing wall so as to cover the sealing wall, the sealing member having a slit through which the engagement protrusion extends to provide friction force between the slit and the protrusion, and a stud bolt, positioned inside the sealing wall, temporarily retaining the sealing member. The sealing member is sandwiched between the sealing wall and a lighting unit attachment wall portion of a vehicle body panel to seal a space inside the sealing wall.

摘要： A theft resistant lamp assembly for a vehicle includes a lamp unit and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket supports the lamp unit. An outer flange extends from the mounting bracket and an inner flange extends inwardly from the mounting bracket so as to form a lens opening. The inner flange supports the lamp unit. One or more lock tabs are adapted to resiliently deform to secure the mounting bracket to the vehicle.
