摘要： The invention is a bicycle frame having an integrated bicycle locking mechanism. Roughly mid-length of a tube of the bicycle frame is removed in order to accommodate the locking mechanism. Secured within one of the exposed ends of the frame is a flexible wire that can emerge and lock itself to a locking receptacle located on the other open end of the frame. Located on the exposed end of the flexible linkage is the locking mechanism. The invention is designed so as to enable the flexible wire to wrap around a stationary object, such as a pole or bicycle stand. Alternatively, the flexible wire can wrap around the rear wheel of the bicycle so as to prevent the bicycle from being used.

The motorcycle wheel disk lock reminder system includes a disk lock adapted for attachment to a wheel of a motorcycle. The disk lock has a slot therein into which an insertion tab outwardly extending from an inner face of a reminder unit is removably inserted. The insertion tab of the reminder unit is also insertable into an ignition keyhole of the motorcycle subsequent removable of the insertion tab from the slot of the disk lock to prevent insertion of an ignition key into the ignition keyhole without prior removal therefrom of the insertion tab of the reminder unit.

摘要： A locking mechanism for bicycle or motorcycle wheels. The mechanism is a through-the-wheel lock that has a hook that attaches to a stationary fixed object, such as a pole. A first embodiment of the invention has a holding bracket attached to one side of the vehicle's front fork. A locking bracket is mounted on the other side of the front fork, directly opposite the holding bracket. A locking cane having a U-shaped end hook includes a number of rachet teeth on the end of the cane opposite the end hook. The holding bracket has a first opening for holding the locking bar in an inoperative position, and a second opening for holding the locking cane in a position wherein the rachet teeth end of the cane inserts between the front wheel spokes and into engagement with the locking mechanism. The end hook is looped around a pole, (or other suitable stationary object), and the cane is pushed into the locking mechanism until the bar and cycle are snug. A second embodiment includes a swivel on the holding bracket for holding the locking cane in both the inoperative and operative positions.

A preferred embodiment of the invention includes a locking bracket positioned on a first frame member at one side of the wheel and a receiving bracket positioned on a second frame member on an opposite side of the wheel from the locking bracket. A lock pin is provided which extends from one bracket to the other through the spokes of the bicycle wheel. The lock pin is positioned in a through hole of the receiving bracket and in a blind hole in the locking bracket. The locking bracket has a locking mechanism for locking the lock pin in place.

摘要： An anti-theft device for use in conjunction with a tracked snowmobile is disclosed. The device has an elongated main arm member and an auxiliary arm member welded to the main arm member, with the arm members being made of case hardened steel and then being plastic coated. The two arm members are substantially parallel with a bight therebetween that is adapted to receive the track of the snowmobile. The device fits across the track of a snowmobile between adjacent tread members and is locked in place on the track by a conventional lock that fits through co-operating apertures in the arm members. The ends of the arm members comprise blocking means that are adapted to physically engage a portion of the body of the snowmobile so as to substantially preclude relative movement of the track with respect to the body of the snowmobile, thereby to preclude the snowmobile from being driven.

The flexible strap includes a coupling bolt arranged on a first end thereof and a loop disposed on a second end thereof. When the coupling bolt inserts into and locks in the aperture, it pushes the retaining unit into the recessed portion to fix the locking member and the fixing mount together, and the coupling bolt inserts through the loop so that the flexible strip forms a positioning ring.

The first end of the core defines a keyhole. The core includes a mandrel extending from the second end thereof for connection with the latch. The latch defines a recess for receiving the mandrel and two holes in communication with the recess. The mandrel defines a hole. A pin can be inserted through the holes defined in the latch and in the mandrel. The latch may include a protective sleeve mounted thereon. The mandrel can be rotated so that the latch can be pivoted to interfere with spokes of a wheel mounted in the fork.

摘要： A lock secured to a surface for releasably retaining a motorcycle thereon. The lock includes a pair of outer tubular members secured to the surface. The outer members each enclose a height adjustment bar secured to the lower end of the outer member. The height adjustment bars each include a number of laterally extending pins spaced along the length of the bar. A pair of inner tubular members including a keyway secured to a lower end of the inner member are slidably insertable into the outer members. The keyways pass around the pins on the height adjustment bar until the inner members are rotated to engage the keyways with a selected pin on the respective bars. Each inner member also includes a pair of opposed openings adjacent the upper end of the inner member that are aligned when the inner members are placed in the engaged position. After the motorcycle is placed between the engaged outer and inner members, a locking rod is inserted through one of the inner members, through the frame of the motorcycle, and through the opposite inner member. The locking rod includes a stop plate at one end to properly position the rod between the inner members and a locking bore opposite the stop member which receives a releasable locking member such as a padlock that selectively retains the locking rod in engagement with the inner members.
