摘要: A group of devices that are permanently installed on a watercraft lift device that are used to create a temporary, yet secure, connection between the bunk system of a watercraft lift and the lift support pilings to prevent the bunk system and watercraft from moving excessively during wind events. The devices allow the bunk system to be quickly secured and released to watercraft lift support pilings as required to prevent motion during watercraft storage periods and allow for normal operation of the watercraft lift when desired. The group of devices also serve as an attachment point for watercraft tie down straps as are sometimes installed during wind events. The devices are meant to stay attached to the watercraft lift in a permanent manner such they are readily accessible at any time the operator wishes to create a temporary connection between the bunk system and the lift support pilings.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for launch and recovery of a remote inspection device within a fluid storage tank. In one embodiment, the tank is accessed by opening an entrance hatch and then injecting a vapor suppression foam across a surface of a stored liquid mass to form a foam layer. A launching system having a remote inspection device is attached to the entrance hatch to define a launch and recovery space sealed from an external environment and isolated from the stored liquid mass in the tank via a valve and the foam layer. The launch and recovery space is purged of hazardous vapors by injection of an inert gas prior to launch and recovery of the remote inspection device. Prior to removal of the launching system, the surface of the stored liquid mass is re-coated with vapor suppression foam.

摘要: A shiplift includes a pier defining a space. The pier includes lifting apparatus. The shiplift includes a shiplift platform configured to fit within the space defined by the pier. One or more movable connectors are mechanically coupled to the shiplift platform. Each movable connector is configured to move into at least two positions, including a first position and a second position. In the first position, the movable connectors are mechanically coupled to the shiplift platform and positioned to allow the shiplift platform to enter the space defined by the pier. In the second position, the movable connectors are mechanically coupled to the shiplift platform and positioned to mechanically couple to the lifting apparatus of the pier.

摘要: A blu water lift system for personal watercraft docking systems to raise and lower a personal watercraft into water and retain the personal watercraft for transport. The blu water lift system may be removably attached to boat and a remote activator can be used to manipulate a watercraft between an in-transport condition and a non-transport condition. The blu water lift system may include a carriage structure with a hull-resting plate, at least one carriage rail and at least one pivot mounting arm with at least one bracket assembly, attachment means, and electrically-operated actuator. The blu water lift assembly may be used to removably attach a frame and a carriage structure to a watercraft, operating the at least one pivot mounting arm and operating a loading ramp. Blu water lift systems may be made of corrosion-resistant materials to promote longevity in water-environments.

摘要: A free-floating, compact, self-stabilizing, self-monitoring, remote-controlled, shallow-water, solar, high-speed, air displacement watercraft lift constructed of polyethylene tanks, and non-metallic structure. This device provides vertical lifting by inflating 4 or more air tanks at once using a blower for each tank, pushing water out an exit hole on the bottom of each tank. Each tank has an electric valve for filling and another for exhausting air. Pairs of tanks are pivotally connected along the centerline, and pairs of tanks are connected with a union tube inside the axles. A monitoring system fills the air tanks if air leaks. The width of the lift is adjusted by adjusting the center bunk height, or by adding a spacer.

摘要: A drive-on watercraft (10) has removable/replaceable bunks (50, 80). The bunks are configured to define two rails (64,66; 94a,b). In one embodiment, one rail (64) is higher than the other rail (66). This bunk with rails of different heights can be positioned on the body of the lift with either rail facing inwardly, such that the lift can be configured to receive watercraft of different sizes. In a second embodiment, the bunk (80) has a ramp (84) positioned to extend rearwardly from the back of the lift body when the bunk is mounted to the lift body. The bunk ramp (84) provides a sacrificial point of first contact for of a watercraft with the lift and provides for a softer ride for the watercraft onto the lift.

摘要: A boatlift moving apparatus includes a floorless U-shaped frame having four corners. Wheels are attached to the U-shaped frame. A post or upright is associated with four points or corners on the frame. Each upright includes a winch and a line. The boatlift moving apparatus is moved so that a boatlift is positioned within the U-shaped frame. The free ends of the U-shaped frame are connected with a cross member, thus surrounding the boatlift. The lines are attached to the boatlift and winched upwardly to lift the boatlift with respect to the frame. The boatlift can be moved from a position in the water to a position on land or vice versa and then set down.

摘要: A boat hoist control switch apparatus for a boat hoist control having first and second toggle switch controlled winches, winch cables, and a boat cradle. The switch apparatus has a vertical rotatable control shaft mounted on upper and lower bearing brackets, a switch control lever, a plurality of horizontal handles attached to the control shaft, a first pivoting link between the switch control lever and the first hoist toggle switch, and a detachable second pivoting link between the first and second hoist toggle switches. Rotation of the control shaft by a selected handle will pivot the switch control lever and simultaneously move the pivoting links and the attached first and second toggle switches actuating the boat hoist winches to raise or lower the boat cradle. The detachable second pivoting link allows for independent control of the toggle switches.
