    摘要: The invention relates to an apparatus by means of which sheet like products which follow one after the other along a feed section are transferred to a conveying arrangement with individually controllable grippers which can be moved in the conveying direction, are arranged one behind the other and are designed for gripping the products at their leading edge, the feed section having, in its end region which is directed toward the conveying arrangement, a conveying nip, in which the sheet-like products are retained, at least in part, on both sides, in the case of which apparatus, in the product-receiving region of the grippers, a positive stop, which is active during each product transfer, is provided for the leading edges of the products, the spacing between the positive stop and conveying nip being selected such that the trailing edges of the products are still located in the conveying nip when the leading edges strike against the positive stop.

    摘要: A method of and a device for controlling the orientation and the alignment of individual sheets of paper travelling on a sheet conveyor are provided. Each sheet passes over a pair of closely spaced rotating disks inserted between upstream and downstream sheet conveyor sections. Each sheet is locally engaged with each disk in a limited contact area. The contact areas between the sheet and each disk are varied so as to achieve a target orientation or alignment of the sheet.

    摘要: A machine wherein stuffers are inserted between the panels of folded sheets, while the sheets are confined in receptacles advancing along an endless path, has a rotor which defines a portion of the path and supports several sets of sheet opening elements including swords which penetrate between the panels of folded sheets in adjacent receptacles to open up the sheets preparatory to admission of stuffers between the panels. The swords are mounted on a support which is adjustably secured to the rotor so that all of the swords are adjusted relative to the adjacent receptacles in response to proper adjustment of a single sword. This simplifies the change of setup when the machine is to be converted from treatment of folded sheets having relatively thick panels to treatment of folded sheets with thinner panels or vice versa.

    摘要: Paper sheet products are conveyed in shingled array at speeds up to 60,000 pieces per hour in the grasp of individual normally closed clamps precisely spaced on a chain link drive and timed for on-line processing at various stations. Thus, clamp tractor units have wheels mating with a U-channel track and rolling at low friction along the track, which may be bent and twisted to conform to a desired pathway in a plant between processing stations. Entrance and exit stations along the transit path provide mating cam surfaces at the station and on the clamp for opening the clamps to receive the products or to discharge them on further processing or transit equipment. Simplified equipment with more reliable pickup and release controls assuring individual product timing and positioning is accomplished by spring biased jaws pivotable by simple cams into open product receiving and closed product gripping and registration positions.

    摘要: The sheet conveyance apparatus includes a controller which controls a moving unit. The moving unit moves a sheet conveyance unit for conveying a sheet toward a direction intersecting with a sheet conveyance direction. The controller performs the control such that a moving speed of a shift moving unit is reduced when a shift amount of the sheet discharged from an image forming apparatus main body is small. Therefore, generation of a noise and vibration can be suppressed to save electric power consumption. When the shift amount of the sheet is large, the moving speed of the shift moving unit can be increased to shorten an operation time necessary to the movement.
