Abstract:
An object is to control the position of a fiber bundle on a roller of a guide assembly in a filament winding apparatus. There is provided a filament winding apparatus that winds a fiber bundle consisting of a plurality of fibers on an outer surface of a liner and comprises a fiber feeder configured to feed the fiber bundle; and a guide assembly including a roller configured to guide the fiber bundle fed by the fiber feeder to the outer surface of the liner while making the fiber bundle in contact with the roller. The roller comprises a suction hole configured to suck the outside air and is provided in at least a surface of the roller that is to be in contact with the fiber bundle; and a suction unit configured to suck the outside air from the suction hole with such a suction force that draws the fiber bundle in contact with the roller.
Abstract:
A coreless paper roll rewinding machine without a winding assisting plate comprises a rewinding upper roller (1) and a rewinding lower roller (2) that are parallel with each other. Paper (3) is wound on the rewinding upper roller (1) and passes through a roller gap between the rewinding upper roller (1) and the rewinding lower roller (2). A plurality of airflow channels (4) are formed in a roller body of the rewinding lower roller (2), and each of the air flow channels (4) is interconnected with a set of air suction holes (5) on the surface of the roller body. An air suction cover (6) provided with an exhaust opening is arranged close to the end of the rewinding roller (2). When one set of air suction holes (5) on the surface of the rewinding lower roller (2) is close to the roller gap, one of the air flow channels (4) interconnected with the set of air suction holes is rotated to a region interconnected with the exhaust opening of the air suction cover (6). When the set of air suction holes (5) on the surface of the rewinding lower roller (2) is far away from the roller gap, the corresponding air flow channel (4) is rotated to a region where it deviates from the exhaust opening. This coreless paper roll rewinding machine has high winding reliability, stable rewinding function and uniform roll compactness, and can prevent the indentation on the surface of the paper roll.

The negative pressure roll 1 is provided with a rotating shaft 2, an internal cylinder 3, an intermediate cylinder 4 and a multi-layered non-woven fabric laminated outer layer 5. Further, the rotating shaft 2 is a member at the center of rotation of the negative pressure roll 1 and connected to the internal cylinder 3 by a reinforcement circular disk 9. Still further, the internal cylinder 3 is formed in a tubular shape and rotates together with the rotating shaft 2. In addition, the rotating shaft 2 and the internal cylinder 3 correspond to a rotating main body. Further, the intermediate cylinder 4 is a cylindrical tubular material formed outside the internal cylinder 3 and rotates in association with the rotating shaft 2 and the internal cylinder 3. Still further, the multi-layered non-woven fabric laminated outer layer 5 is formed outside the intermediate cylinder 4 and given as a part at which the negative pressure roll 1 is in contact with the metal strip 13. The multi-layered non-woven fabric laminated outer layer 5 also rotates in association with the rotating shaft 2, the internal cylinder 3 and the intermediate cylinder 4. In addition, the negative pressure roll 1 is provided with a controller 6 for suppressing rotation of the negative pressure roll 1.
Abstract:
A plate configured to contact a web includes a first region having a first characteristic and a second region having a second characteristic different than the first characteristic. The plate has a substantially arcuate wall with an inner surface and an outer surface. A plurality of vacuum holes extends between the inner and outer surfaces and are configured to be in fluid communication with a vacuum source. A vacuum region is adapted to contact the first region of the web and a reduced-vacuum region is adapted to receive the second region of the web. The plurality of vacuum holes are configured such that, when attached to the vacuum source, a vacuum pressure at the vacuum region is greater than a pressure at the reduced-vacuum region so that the first region of the web is held against the plate with a greater force than the second region.
Abstract:
A sheet supply system, for use in supplying overlapped sheets to an interfolder, includes a bed roll on which a web is cut into successive sheets. The sheets are supplied to a sheet supply passage leading to retard rolls, which overlap the sheets within the supply passage. The trailing portion of each downstream sheet bulges outwardly as the sheet is supplied to the supply passage. An air tube directs pressurized air into a volume within which the bulge in the downstream sheet is formed. The pressurized air prevents the leading portion of the upstream sheet from being drawn outwardly along with the trailing area of the downstream sheet, by counteracting a vacuum that results from outward movement of the trailing portion of the downstream sheet after it is released from the bed roll. The pressurized air also maintains the upstream sheet in engagement with stripper fingers that guide the sheets through the sheet supply passage, and ensures separation between the trailing end of the downstream sheet and the leading end of the upstream sheet.
Abstract:
A coreless paper roll rewinding machine using air flow to assist starting winding is mainly characterized in that: an air pipe (11) blowing air downwards is arranged above a rewinding lower roller (2); the roller gap (M) between a rewinding upper roller (1) and the rewinding lower roller (2) is no more than 10 mm; a plurality of air flow channels (4) are distributed in the roller body of the rewinding upper roller (1); a plurality of sets of air suction holes (5) are formed on the surface of the roller body; each set of the air suction holes (5) are interconnected with each air flow channel (4) formed in the roller body; an air suction cover (6) is arranged in the position close to the end part of the rewinding upper roller (1); and each air flow channel (4) formed in the roller body is interconnected with or disconnected with the air suction holes of the air suction cover (6) in turn along with rotating of the rewinding upper roller (1). The coreless paper roll rewinding machine neither needs to depend on the support of a winding assisting plate nor needs to change the roller gap between the rewinding upper roller (1) and the rewinding lower roller (2) during the whole process from starting rewinding to finishing rewinding.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a device for securely holding stacked bank notes in a bank note stacker box. The device is to be assembled in an automatic money depositing and disbursing machine, and comprises a combination of a stopper and a push cover having an operation plate fitted with a frictional member. The stopper is swingably supported by the box to be held normally at the position to constrain the fore edges of the stacked bank notes, to be swung to the position to release the fore edges of the bank notes at the commencement of the operation of sucking and pulling out the notes from the box, to be restored to the normal constraining position to prevent the remaining notes from being pulled out of the box at the termination of the operation of sucking and pulling out the notes, and to be held at a position to scrape off the bank notes conveyed by and accumulating wheel while being inserted below respective paddles of the accumulating wheel to let them fall down into the box during the operation of accumulating and stacking bank notes into the box. The push cover has the operation plate adapted to be set to the closed position to push the aft end portion of the stacked notes during the operation of sucking and pulling out the notes from the box to ensure separation of the sucked uppermost note by the action of the fitted frictional member, and adapted to be set to the open position during the operation of accumulating and stacking bank notes. Further proposed is a front cover which is co-operatively associated with the stopper such that it locks the fore end portion of the stopper to prevent the same from opening when the box is disassembled from the machine body of the automatic money depositing and disbursing machine.
