An insert is positioned into a center aperture of the core. A flowable adhesive material may be injected through an aperture in the sidewall and into a chamber that is formed between the insert, the core and the sidewall. The material sets and bonds the core and the sidewall to form the package.

    摘要: A two-piece reel structure for taking up an elongated tape, such as a magnetic tape, a film and the like, is provided. The reel includes two similar halves, each of which includes a frustum-shaped central shaft portions. A bottom plane of each frustum is provided with a plurality of engaging means and receiving holes. Each of the engaging means includes a hook portion adapted to engage with a flat projection in the receiving hole on another half reel and a tongue portion located at one end of the hook portion and adapted to press a free end against an edge of the receiving hole opposite to the flat projection to prevent the hook portion from disengaging from the flat projection. By engaging the engaging means on a first half reel with the receiving holes on a second half reel and then turning the two half reels in opposite directions, the two half reels can be easily and firmly connected to each other to provide a complete reel.

    摘要: The invention relates to a winding spool, made of two spool bodies stuck to each other, which has a cylindrical reel barrel and two lateral spool flanges, the abutting surfaces extending radially, preferably, in the middle of said winding barrel. Said winding spool also comprises adhesive tongues, which are formed on said abutting surfaces and engage into corresponding insertion pockets of the other respective spool body. The aim of the invention is to optimally design the joining area of both spool bodies, in order to provide the rotational accuracy as well as to avoid edges and deformations in said joining area. Said aim is achieved, whereby the winding spool is deigned, such that the spool bodies are joined to each other positively or non-positively and the application force, which acts on the contact surfaces, is increased. The adhesive tongues, projecting from said abutting surfaces, extend in the shape of a semicircle and the insertion pockets have corresponding shape. Moreover, said adhesive tongues have flattenings on the free ends thereof and said insertion pockets have corresponding inner areas. Said winding spool is particularly suitable for winding components for producing electronic components.

    摘要: An ultimate product which is a package of coiled line is disclosed. The package includes the coiled line exteriorly of a demountable spool. The demountable spool is ideally formed by two members, each identical to the other, and interfitting with each other in order to provide support of the coil at a spacing of 90.degree.. A companion to the invention of the line package, is the method of winding the line on the spool which comprises supporting between the four support members of the demountable spool in an arcuate fashion, or its equivalent, those portions of the line which are intermediate the support members of the demountable spool. After the demountable spool has been totally wound or coiled with the line, the arcuate support portion or its equivalent is removed, and the package of line remains with its essential annular coil on the demountable spool.

The polyurethane foam is an effective adhesive medium, thereby forming the core and connecting the sidewalls to form the package.
