    摘要: A method improves a winding process of a textile machine and a winding station of a textile machine having a machine controller (11), a yarn sensor (4), a yarn quality monitor, in particular a yarn clearer (5), and a yarn connecting device, in particular a splicing device (3). A yarn (1) is wound onto a bobbin (2). The yarn (1) is analyzed with regard to its length, quality, and/or speed, and is cut if necessary in order to clear a quality defect and two yarn ends are connected to one another by means of the yarn connecting device after the quality defect has been removed. The yarn (1) is analyzed with regard to foreign material, yarn speed, and/or yarn length by means of a capacitive yarn sensor (4), and is analyzed with regard to the yarn body and the yarn characteristic by means of an optical yarn quality monitor. The yarn (1) is subsequently optionally cleared. Data of the capacitive yarn sensor (4) with regard to the foreign material and/or the yarn speed is provided to the yarn quality monitor, in particular the yarn clearer (5), and with regard to the yarn length and/or the yarn speed are provided to the machine controller (11).

    摘要: A yarn splicing device for producing a knot-free yarn connection, particularly with elastic yarns, comprises a splicing body (25) formed with a splicing channel (26) to receive the yarns to be spliced and having at least one compressed air inlet opening (29) for pneumatic splicing of their constituent fibers. Yarn clamping devices (43, 44) and cutting devices (41, 42) are provided adjacent the splicing channel. Preparatory nozzles (53, 54) act to prepare the yarn ends for splicing and pneumatically hold the yarn ends to be spliced. Restraining devices (49; 50) are arranged along the splicing extent of the yarn between the clamping devices (43; 44) and the preparatory nozzles (53; 54) to pneumatically resist contraction of the yarn ends up to the preparatory nozzle (53; 54). The number of unsuccessful yarn splicing attempts with elastic yarns thereby can be reduced.

The chamber has an open side and open ends, with an enlarged section therebetween. A pad is provided for closing the open side of the chamber, and a port in the chamber wall normally substantially opposite the open side, provides for delivery of an air blast to splice yarns in the chamber. A restrictor plate is fitted at one end of the body to partially close an open end of the chamber.

    摘要: In a device for the knotless joining of threads and yarns using compressed air, a chamber is provided including central region of substantially U or V cross-section, possibly with a flat base, and two lateral regions of substantially circular cross-section. The slits of the three regions, through which the yarns to be joined are inserted, form a continuous common gap which is closable frontally by a cover. A nozzle opens into the base of the central region in a direction perpendicular to the frontal opening of the slit of said central region, and a nozzle opens into the base of each lateral region opposite the frontal opening of the relative slit in a direction substantially tangential to the circular cross-section, these latter two nozzles being in opposing positions and feedable with compressed air via a duct which is separate from the feed duct for the nozzle opening into the central region.

    摘要: An apparatus for splicing the tow ends of man-made fiber tows, including a pair of jet carriers having oppositely directed pairs of jets to which compressed air can be supplied, whereby the connection of tow ends introduced between the pair of jet carriers is effected by aerodynamic turbulence. In order to enable an automatic splicing procedure, the pair of jet carriers is disposed on a jet carrier transport device that is movable in a direction transverse to the longitudinal orientation of the fiber tows. In addition, a cutting mechanism is provided that is movable parallel to the jet carrier transport device and cuts off projecting fiber ends after completion of splicing. A holding device having holders fixes the tow ends in position.
