Abstract:
An example fiber storage device includes a bend radius limiter extending along a height from a first end to a second end. The first end is seated at a mounting surface. One or more arms extend outwardly from the second end of the body. Each of the arms defines a retaining member that contacts the mounting surface. Each retaining member has a first contact surface that faces away from the storage surface and a second contact surface that faces towards the storage surface. A storage region is defined between the mounting surface, the storage surface, one of the arms arm, and the second contact surface of the respective retaining member.
Abstract:
A small case that can be injection-molded from liquid silicone rubber or a similar elastomer that protects earbuds or other components from damage and manages the wire to prevent tangling. The case has an integral pocket that holds most styles of earbuds or other items with several optional fingers that are flexible and compliant. The earbuds or other component can be inserted into the pocket and the fingers close over the earbuds or other items thereby protecting and/or retaining them. The wires can then be fed through one of the slots and wrapped around a spool. A reversible cover can then be flipped to a closed position to cover and retain the wire.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for adjusting the length of an infusion tube (2) comprising a first wall (3) and a second wall (4) and at least one connecting element (5) connecting the first wall (3) to the second wall (4), said connecting element (5) being situated at a distance to the peripheral circumference of the walls (6), and wherein the distance between the walls in radial distance to said connecting element provides an inlet opening extending around the connecting element having a width (M) measured between the walls (3, 4); and wherein the apparatus comprises at least one attachment device (8) for securing the infusion tube (2). Hereby a winding of an infusion tube is enabled for adjusting the connection length between pump and the site of infusion anywhere on the infusion tube and on any kind of infusion tube, said apparatus being independent of the infusion unit. Thus, the apparatus enables reuse due to its independence of the pump. The system also enables the user to position the winding unit on any suitable place in his/her body with regard to physiology and to clothing.
Abstract:
A reel assembly includes a reel having a magnet rim, turntable, magnetic key, and a wire feed tube. The reel is self starting and holds the feed wire upon the completion of winding.
Abstract:
A cable management spool for storing a length of cable includes first and second rigid outer members that are movable relative to each other and define a gap of variable size therebetween. An intermediate member has at least one flexible flap, and the intermediate member is disposed between the first and second rigid outer members. The spool includes a spooling portion between the first and second outer members, wherein the spooling portion is adapted to have a length of cable wound about the spooling portion. The intermediate member is movable relative to at least one of the first and second rigid outer members, and the at least one flap substantially occupies the gap and is adapted to substantially conceal the length of cable.
Abstract:
A cord storage device is provided which allows the simultaneous winding and unwinding of both halves of a cord while maintaining both cord ends in position for use and the device also permits unwinding of the cord from the storage device while one cord end is held in a fixed position.
Abstract:
A cover for a reel of welding wire comprises a sleeve having axially opposite ends extending across the outer peripheries of the flanges of the reel and having radially inwardly open circumferentially extending recesses interengaging with the flanges to releasably axially retain the sleeve on the reel and to seal the space between the flanges so as to protect welding wire wound about the hub of the reel between the flanges from exposure to air and moisture. Seals are provided between the recesses and reel flanges for the latter purpose. In accordance with another embodiment, the cover comprises two portions which snap-lock together to completely enclose the reel. The reel and cover are relatively rotatable and in accordance with another aspect of the invention the cover can remain on the reel during use and is provided with an integral or detachable nose which supports the wire during unwinding thereof from the reel.
Abstract:
The subject device is a balloon weight and holding device having and storing a balloon tether means and adapted to be attached to a balloon and functioning to prevent a balloon filled with a lighter-than-air gas from rising above a given tethered length, such device comprising in general a spool member having a central cylindrical shaft flanked on each end by opposing circular plate members, each such plate having a circumferential rim. The spool member has the balloon tether wrapped around it to be unravelled at will. Integrally disposed between the inner face of such circular plate members are integrally affixed means to retard the process of unravelling of the balloon string so that the balloon string and thus the balloon do not become beyond the control of the person holding the balloon. An additional function of the subject device is such that if the balloon escapes the clutches of the holder, the balloon weight device will function as an anchor hold-down in order to prevent the balloon rising uncontrollably into the atmosphere.
Abstract:
A cord stowage device is provided which includes a spool having a channel through which a cable slidably passes from one side of the spool to the other side of the spool. First and second cup-shaped members are attached to respective ends of the spool. Each cup-shaped member includes a concave surface which faces toward the spool and the other cup-shaped member such that the first and second members grasp the cable as it enters the stowage device and as it exits the stowage device. The stowage device is positioned at the desired position on the cable by sliding the cable therethrough. When the stowage device reached the desired position on the cable, any excess slack cable in wound around the spool of the stowage device.
Abstract:
A threaded material dispenser having first and second substantially identical contoured members, hinged together to fold into overlapping position with said second member supported by said first member; each member preferably being pliable and having a depressed central region surrounded on at least three sides by raised portions, so that at least one skein of yarn positioned between said members in the central region thereof may be dispensed between said raised portion of said two members without pulling out the skein of yarn, said raised portions and the walls of one of said central regions preferably enclosing granulated material.
