The container cover also provides attachment elements to attach the cover to a container or a receptacle holding the container. The container cover further includes an accessory support element. An embodiment designed to cover a beverage container within a receptacle, wherein the surface is used in serving beverages, the opening allows for access to a beverage dispensing mechanism, and the accessory support holds empty cups for serving the beverage.

    Abstract: An apparatus for storing fluid and dispensing multiple portions of a stored fluid therefrom. The apparatus comprises a container defining a variable-volume storage chamber for receiving therein the fluid and a dispensing valve including a valve inlet coupled in fluid communication with the variable volume storage chamber, and a valve member in fluid communication with the valve inlet and defining a normally-closed valve opening. The valve member is responsive to fluid at the valve inlet exceeding a valve opening pressure to move between (i) a normally closed position, and (ii) an open position permitting fluid flow through the valve opening. The dispensing valve defines a dispensing axis defining a direction substantially along which fluid is dispensed from the valve, and further includes an outlet surface over which dispensed fluid flows oriented at an acute angle relative to the dispensing axis for preventing the collection of residual dispensed fluid thereon.

    Abstract: A replaceable fluid container is described for use in a plunger-type fluid dispenser of the type disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 4,793,518. The fluid container is generally rectangular in shape and has a recess in the top surface from which a neck extends. The neck and an associated closure are sized to terminate flush with a plane containing the top surface of the container and is positioned for alignment with specific elements of the dispenser. The container, either alone or in conjunction with a spacer, preferably has a width of a intergral multiple of about 21/8 inches, a height of about 91/4 inches, and a depth of about 5 to about 61/2 inches.
