Abstract:
Press for cutting a material in the form of a sheet comprising a horizontal work-table, a moving bridge located above the worktable over the whole length of the latter and capable of sliding horizontally so as to either overhang the said table or free it by being moved aside therefrom, a press-plate supported by a carriage mounted under the said bridge and movable in horizontal translation in a direction perpendicular to the direction of displacement of the bridge itself, the said plate being moreover movable in vertical translation so as to apply a vertical pressure on the cutting tool placed on the material to be cut and cause it to penetrate into said material.
Abstract:
The press comprises a horizontal cutting table intended to receive the material to be cut and the cutting tool placed on the said material and a horizontally slidable carriage located at a level higher than that of the table, said table comprising a positioning plate which is vertically movable with respect to the said carriage, a pressing plate arranged above the positioning plate and movable vertically with respect to the latter, and an inflatable element interposed between the said plates and serving to drive the pressing plate towards the carriage so as to cause the cutting tool abutting against the said carriage to penetrate into the material to be cut.
Abstract:
This rotary stamping apparatus includes a presser roller supported inside a hollow cylinder roller which carries tool means on its outer surface. The presser roller presses the hollow cylinder toward a counter roller whereby the hollow cylinder is positively held and a working area is formed through which sheet material is fed from which shapes are punched by said tool means when the rollers are rotated. The hollow cylinder roller is also held in position by automatically adjustable guide rollers.
Abstract:
A die cutting apparatus in which a continuous web of material is fed continuously from a supply of the web, the web is decurled and aligned with a die. The web is fed to the die by an intermittent feed mechanism, and loop control means are provided to allow the transition from continuous to intermittent feeding. An outfeed device is provided to remove cut pieces very rapidly, and stack the cut pieces for subsequent removal.
