摘要： There is provided a knitted fabric in which a spacing of an open portion can be adjusted as necessary, and a method for knitting the same. An inlay knitting of interweaving a first line (Y1) supplied from a far side line feeder (F1) into a first knitted fabric portion (11) is carried out (process α). An inlay knitting of interweaving a second line (Y2) supplied from a near side line feeder (F2) into a second knitted fabric portion (12) is carried out, and the second line (Y2) is made intersect the first line (Y1) on the open portion (50) side (process β). An inlay knitting of interweaving the first line (Y1) into the first knitted fabric portion (11) is carried out, and a state in which the first line (Y1) is entwined around the second line (Y2) and turned back is obtained (process γ). An inlay knitting of interweaving the second line (Y2) into the second knitted fabric portion (12) is carried out, and a turn-back end of the first line (Y1) and a turn-back end of the second line (Y2) are entwined (process δ).

摘要： In a process for knitting a weft-knitted fabric (T) by means of mutually opposite needlebeds comprising axially slidable needles, the needles being operated in correspondence to a yarn feed, said yarn consisting in a base thread (FF) and a pile thread (Fp) mutually coupled, for stitches in correspondence with which pile has to be formed, when the needle is engaging the yarn, the pile thread (Fp) is separated from said base thread (FF) and retained so that a bridle (B) is formed on the backside between the new stitch and the previous stitch of the same rank (R), while the base thread (FF) forms a normal backside stitch lower loop. The bridle (B) is subsequently cut in order to obtain the cut pile, as the fabric under formation progressively moves down. The invention also relates to a knitting machine specifically designed and built for carrying out the process and to a knitted fabric obtainable with such process and machine.

摘要： A knitted fabric provided with piles formed between the face and back side structures which are stitched to each other. The knitted fabric is manufactured by a way of knitting a bulky knitted fabric while forming piles and using a pile forming yarn doubled with one or both of a face structure forming foundation yarn and a back structure forming yarn between wales at which these yarns are all stitched together. The knitting is accomplished using a knitting machine wherein needle beds for pile forming needles different from and adjacent to those for forming the foundation structure are provided on one or both of a dial and a cylinder side of the machine so that pile forming needles may project or withdraw to form piles while the foundation structure is knitted.
