    摘要： The souring of wet laundry in a laundry treating appliance may be retarded by sending an alert signal indicative of an ending of a cycle of operation from the laundry treating appliance to a remote electronic device. The appliance may receive an authorization signal from the electronic device indicative of an instruction to execute an anti-sour cycle. An anti-sour cycle comprising the energizing of a fan to flow air through a laundry treating chamber may be automatically initiated for the laundry treating appliance.

    摘要： A laundry handling machine for performing both a washing operation and a drying operation includes a blower which directs air over the motor during both the washing and drying operations to cool the motor and additionally directs air over a heating element during the drying operation to provide heated air through the vat. A rotational speed reduction arrangement is provided for controlling the timing of both of the operations. A drying operation timing device is driven by the washing operation timing device. A rinsing device is coupled with a supply conduct for a rinsing liquid and also with a siphon drain tube which has a larger cross-section than the supply conduct.

    摘要： A semielectronic control system for a combination washing and drying machine utilizing a solenoid-actuated stepping switch, each successive position of the switch controlling such functions as water fill, agitate, drain, extract, and dry making up the washer-dryer''s cycle of operation. Energization of the solenoid is controlled either by RC timer circuitry having a number of selective delays or by circuitry responsive to sensed conditions. The stepping switch selects the appropriate delay in the RC timing circuitry or the proper condition responsive circuit which causes energization of the solenoid to advance the stepping switch to the next position.
