The second pressurizing unit is positioned on a downstream side of the first pressurizing unit in the transfer direction of the web, does not have a separation layer, and is configured not to heat the web. The pressurizing force from the first pressurizing unit is smaller than the pressurizing force from the second pressurizing unit.

The fibrous web is dewatered in a second press zone following the first press zone and defined between the revolving permeable belt and the revolving permeable support belt, the second press zone having a second press zone length. The fibrous web is led through the second press zone between the permeable belt and the support belt, the permeable belt and the support belt each having a different compressibility.

The arrangement includes at least one press nip for dewatering the web manufactured on a web-forming machine. The arrangement also includes a smoothing press including a smoothing roll arranged after the press nip. The smoothing press includes smooth heat carrying devices arranged as a loop around at least two guide rolls. The smoothing roll is arranged into contact with the devices between two guide rolls. The smoothing roll and/or at least one of the guide rolls is a steam heated drying cylinder or a steam heated roll modified thereof. The invention also relates to a board or paper produced in such arrangement.

    摘要: A method of producing a tissue paper web in a papermaking machine including the steps of forming the web on a skin, selecting a quality of the web, bypassing a dewatering apparatus, passing the skin and web through a nip and conveying the web to a drying cylinder from the skin. The web is formed in a forming section of the machine from a pulp suspension on the skin. In the selecting step a quality of the web is selected thereby defining a quality selection of absorbency or tear resistance. The bypassing step includes bypassing the dewatering apparatus with the web and selecting a type of the skin dependent upon the quality selection. The machine being configured to bypass the dewatering apparatus dependent upon the quality selection; when the quality selection is tear resistance then the skin is a non-structured skin or a felt and the dewatering apparatus is bypassed, when the quality selection is the absorbency then the skin is a three-dimensionally structured skin or a structured mesh and the dewatering apparatus is not bypassed. In the passing step the skin and the tissue paper web passes through a nip defined between a cylindrical surface of the drying cylinder and a mating surface of a press roller.

    摘要: The present invention is a method for maximizing water removal from an absorbent web in a press nip. The present invention uses a pressing unit having a blanket with a void volume and with a pressure profile that maximizes water removal in the press section or on the Yankee dryer of a paper machine. The pressure profile of the pressing unit according to the present invention has a very steep pressure drop at and/or following the exit of a pressure distribution curve in order to maximize water removal by minimizing rewet of the web. The improved pressure profile according to the present invention results in increased water removal and/or improved line speed. The void volume further increases water removal and/or improves line speed.
