    摘要: A rail-lifting and ballast-spreading apparatus that may be employed to rehabilitate damaged tracks or aid rough in of new tracks, is described. The apparatus includes a track-lifting unit at a forward end thereof that includes an arm that is pivotable to extend forwardly and over a section of track in need of repair or ballast replenishment. Rail clamps are provided on a distal end of the arm that engage and travel along the rails as the apparatus moves forward. A conveyor provides a stream of ballast across the width of the tracks while the tracks are lifted and as the apparatus moves forward onto the now repaired tracks. A surge bin is provided to increase a rate of distribution of the ballast material by the conveyor over that available from the ballast-delivery consist.

By means of the method according to the invention it is possible to carry out in a simple manner a lifting of the track grid with simultaneous stabilization of the track position.

After the left and right rails have been surveyed independently by means of an inertial measuring unit (11), the length and position of the individual fault (TAMP, S, E) to be corrected is determined by taking into account a limit value of the individual faults (FLIM) and a maximum extension (smax) in the longitudinal direction of the track (s). The tamping units (7) of the tamping machine (s) are positioned exactly at the starting point (S) and end the tamping at the end point (E) of the determined track correction section (TAMP). Both track sections (FLI,FRE) are tamped and corrected simultaneously.

The tool has ruling etched along the top of the housings, a level, and also has a series of ratchet heads for tightening and loosening tools on a roof. The invention may include a series of seam clamp holes along the surface of the housings, which receive a seam clamp. The invention may also have an elongating device secured onto one of the housings, which is used for measuring distances beyond the length of the installation tool.

The alignment cylinders generate a transversal movement to cause track alignment. Behind this unit according to the direction of work a stabilising unit is situated which consists of two stabilising trolleys. The ground-penetrating radar is situated at the machine front.

    摘要: A rail puller for attachment to the end of a rail comprising a top plate having side plates extending downwardly therefrom in a spaced-apart relationship. The bottom surface of the top plate is provided with a centrally disposed guide slot formed therein adapted to receive the tapered end of a wedge. An elongated rod is secured to the inside surface of each of the side plates near the lower end thereof. The puller is installed on a rail by slipping the same over the end of the rail. A wedge is then inserted into the guide slot of the top plate and is driven thereinto to force the elongated rods upwardly into frictional engagement with the underside of the head of the rail. A lifting bracket is provided on the top surface of the top plate and chain hooks are mounted on the exterior surfaces of the side plates to facilitate the connection of the puller to either a hoisting device, a Hy-Railer or the like.
