摘要： A ballast planing machine includes a machine frame supported by undercarriages for movement in an operating direction along a track and comprised of a leading carrier frame which supports a vertically adjustable ballast plow arrangement and a further carrier frame which is linked to the leading carrier frame and supports an operator's cabin and a vertically adjustable, rotary sweeping broom. Mounted to the further carrier frame is also a negative pressure generator of a suction unit for removing excess ballast during movement of the machine frame in operating direction. The suction unit includes a suction tube which communicates with the negative pressure generator and extends in longitudinal direction beyond the machine frame to terminate in a suction nozzle which projects beyond the rearward end of the machine frame. The suction nozzle is operatively connected to a control unit which is installed in the operator's cabin and controls a movement of the suction nozzle between an idle non-operational position and an operational position.

摘要： In combination with a mobile ballast cleaning machine advancing continuously in an operating direction along a railroad track, which comprises a ballast excavating chain including a transverse course extending under the track and driven to excavate a transversely extending portion of the ballast bed during the continuous advancement of the machine: a device connected to the machine for continuous advancement therewith and arranged to receive ballast deposited on the ballast bed and the track ties ahead of the transverse ballast excavating chain course and to discharge the received ballast in the transversely extending excavated ballast bed portion, the device comprising a ballast receiving and discharging element extending in the direction of the track, and a vertical adjustment drive arranged to lower the element onto the upper surfaces of the ties between the rails whereby the ballast deposited on the ballast bed and the track ties is separated from the underlying ballast bed and is received on the element during the continuous advancement of the machine and the element connected thereto, the ballast receiving and discharging element having a discharge end above the transverse ballast excavating chain course for discharging the received ballast in the excavated ballast bed portion immediately therebehind in the operating direction.

摘要： The sub-grade of a railroad ballast bed is stablized by depositing sand on the bed, removing the sand and ballast in admixture with an excavating bucket conveyor until the sub-grade has been exposed, the sand and ballast are separated from each other on a screen which receives the admixture, and two endless conveyors mounted below the screen convey the separated sand and ballast to the exposed sub-grade to deposit the separated sand thereat at a point ahead of a succeeding point where the separated ballast is deposited, thus depositing the ballast on a layer of sand interposed between the sub-grade and the ballast.

摘要： A mobile ballast cleaning apparatus comprises a first and a second work vehicle. A track lifting device and a vertically adjustable ballast excavating and conveying chain are mounted on the first work vehicle, and a ballast screening installation for separating waste from cleaned ballast and a waste conveyor means for removing the waste are mounted on the second work vehicle. The apparatus further comprises a cleaned ballast conveying and redistributing installation including a conveyor band mounted on the second vehicle for receiving the cleaned ballast from the ballast screening installation, a first cleaned ballast conveyor arranged to convey the cleaned ballast to an output end adjacent a first ballast redistributing outlet immediately rearwardly of the ballast excavating site, and a second cleaned ballast conveyor having an input end adjacent the output end of the first ballast conveyor and leading to a second ballast redistributing outlet arranged rearwardly of the rear undercarriage of the first work vehicle. A ballast flow deflector is mounted between the output end of the first cleaned ballast conveyor and the input end of the second cleaned ballast conveyor, and a drive selectively positions the ballast flow deflector for directing the cleaned ballast to the first outlet for continuously forming a first layer of cleaned ballast as the mobile apparatus advances in the operating direction and/or to the second outlet for forming a second layer of cleaned ballast over the first layer.

摘要： A track work train for successively reconditioning ballast bed zones supporting respective assembled track section comprises a track building vehicle and a plurality of freight cars interconnected for common movement along the track. The track building vehicle includes an elongated frame and two undercarriages supporting the vehicle frame for movement on the track. A hoist is mounted on the vehicle frame for lifting an assembled track section off the ballast bed and the vehicle frame spans a ballast bed reconditioning zone resulting from the lifting of the assembled track section off the ballast bed. A vertically adjustably ballast bed excavator is mounted on the vehicle frame adjacent the hoist and a conveyor band is associated with the excavator. The hoist and the excavator with the associated conveyor band are displaceably mounted on a guide track on the vehicle frame for movement along the vehicle frame in the direction of the track.

摘要： A mobile track working machine arrangement comprises two consecutively arranged, independent track working vehicles, each track working vehicle comprising an elongated two-part machine frame, the two parts of the machine frame being linked by a pivot for pivoting of one part in relation to the other part about a horizontal axis extending perpendicularly to the track, and undercarriages supporting the machine frame on the track. A ballast excavating device is vertically adjustably mounted on the machine frame of a first track working vehicle for excavating the ballast supporting the track whereby the subgrade is exposed, and a conveyor arrangement is mounted on the machine frame of the first track working vehicle for removing the excavated ballast. A device for planing and compacting a protective layer of sand on the subgrade is mounted on the machine frame of the second track working vehicles. A track lifting device is mounted on each machine frame, each track lifting device comprising lifting rollers rollingly engaging the track rails in permanent frictional contact therewith, and a device for sweeping sand from the ties into adjacent cribs is mounted on the machine frame of at least one of the vehicles.
