摘要: The present invention relates to a railway weed control vehicle. It is described to activate (110) at least one weed control unit to control weeds along and around a railway track. The railway track comprises rails and sleepers. The at least one electrode based weed control unit is mounted at at least one first position of the vehicle. Sensor data is acquired (120) by at least one sensor. The sensor data relates to at least one location along and around the railway track. The at least one sensor is mounted at at least one second position of the vehicle. With respect to a forward movement direction of the vehicle the at least one second position is in front of the at least one first position. The sensor data is provided (130) to a processing unit. The sensor data is analysed (140) by the processing unit to determine locations of rail infrastructure components in addition to the rails and sleepers. The processing unit modifies (150) activation of one or more electrode based weed control units of the at least one electrode based weed control unit comprising utilisation of at least one location of the determined locations of the rail infrastructure components.

摘要: A particle removing arrangement is adapted to remove particles from the upper contact surface of an electric rail in an electric highway by the use of an airflow, where the particle removing arrangement is arranged in front of a current collector of a vehicle, where the particle removing arrangement includes an inlet opening for inlet of air and an outlet opening for outlet of air, where the inlet opening is directed in a forward direction and the outlet opening is directed in a sideway to rearward direction in relation to the driving direction of the vehicle, and where the particle removing arrangement creates a particle removing airflow from a forward movement of the vehicle. Particles can be removed from an electric rail without the use of an external power source. The particles can also be removed in a contact-less manner, such that there is no friction or abrasion between the particle removing arrangement and the electric rail.

摘要: A railcar mover is provided that is configured for use on a railroad track and has a frame, a plurality of traction wheels, and a traction enhancing system. Included in the traction enhancing system is an air nozzle associated with at least one of the traction wheels, mounted directly or indirectly relative to the frame so that an outlet of the air nozzle is directed at a corresponding rail of the railroad track for emitting high pressure air for removing at least one of unwanted debris and moisture. In addition, a scraper blade is associated with the nozzle and mounted relative to the nozzle so that the scraper blade contacts debris on the track before the high pressure air, in a direction of travel of the mover.

摘要: A device for cleaning wall surfaces, ground surfaces, track superstructures or tunnel walls is configured to be arranged on a rail vehicle that moves along a direction of travel. The device includes an aspirator opening and at least two air nozzles arranged in rows of air nozzles disposed on either side of the aspirator opening such that the aspirator opening is disposed between the rows of air nozzles. The rows of air nozzles are supplied with compressed air such that the pressure of the row of air nozzles disposed in front of the aspiration opening in the direction of travel of the rail vehicle is lower than the pressure of the other row of air nozzles.

摘要: A cleaning apparatus for overhead conveyor rails particularly for meat packing plants having a traveler riding the rail and a cart moving below the traveler. The cart has tanks containing cleaning and oiling fluids; a hydraulic fluid reservoir; and a hydraulic pump driven by an electric motor. The traveler has a first brush driven by a hydraulic motor for scrubbing one side of a rail; a second brush driven by a hydraulic motor for scrubbing the other side of the rail; heads for spraying the rails with cleaning, rinsing, and oiling agents; grooved support-drive trolley wheels riding the rails and a hydraulic motor driving one trolley wheel. Lines between the cart and the traveler supply the traveler with agents and hydraulic power. A skin encloses the traveler containing spray and channeling used agents to a drain hose. A step-over mechanism supports one brush on the hanger-side of the rail and enables the brush to scrub closely to the hanger, move around the hanger, and re-engage the rail closely on the other side of the hanger. The cart has a hydraulic jack and the traveler has a socket receiving the jack shaft for lifting and lowering the traveler on rails. The traveler has mechanisms operated by the jack shaft which automatically disengages the brushes from the rail to facilitate mounting and removing the traveler on a rail.
