摘要: In a mobile system for pipe rehabilitation, a tractor moves a motorized electrical cutter inside a pipe. The cutter is used to remove a blockage from a branch conduit connected to the main pipe. A power management system powers the mobile system, including the cutter, from a direct current power source with an input current having a voltage less than 60V. The power management system powers the electrical cutter by discharging current from the supercapacitor module to the cutter. Power to other components is provided without discharge from the supercapacitor module and is not interrupted by supercapacitor discharge to the cutter. The power management system can include a housing for the supercapacitor module with a first connector at one end for connecting to an umbilical cord and a second connector an opposite end for connecting to the tractor.

摘要: A lining tube for reconditioning a defective sewer pipe has an inner film tube, around which is disposed a radially expandable layer of fiber material that is impregnated with a curable reactive resin. The inner film tube has a connecting section that extends in longitudinal direction thereof and connects two circumferential portions of the inner film tube that run parallel to one another to give an inner film tube which is continuous over its circumference and has a defined nominal diameter. The connecting section has an intended fracture site that extends along the inner film tube and can be parted by introducing a pressure medium into the inner film tube in circumferential direction, in order to expand the inner film tube and the layer of fiber material disposed thereon radially beyond the nominal diameter. There is also described a method of producing and of installing such a lining tube.

摘要: A support apparatus for installing a pipeline into a trench has a first pipeline-receiving section, a second pipeline-receiving section, and a fastener removably affixed to at least one of the first and second pipeline receiving sections. The fastener is connected to the first and second pipeline-receiving sections so as to be in a pipeline-supporting position. The fastener is removable from at least one of the first and second pipeline-receiving sections so as to allow the first and second pipeline-receiving sections to separate from each other. Each of the pipeline-receiving sections includes a pipeline-receiving surface and a support affixed to the pipeline-receiving surface and extending downwardly therefrom so as to allow the pipeline-receiving surface to be positioned at a desired location above a bottom of the trench.

摘要: A pipe expander assembly for replacing an existing pipe with a new pipe. The expander assembly has a slitter disposed about a wire rope and abutting an expander at a spherical joint. The expander comprises a cone to expand a slit pipe and is internally connected to the wire rope by jaws that expand and contract about the wire rope due to threading of a jam nut into the cone. A pipe puller is connected to the back of the expander at a clevis and is adapted for connection to a new pipe, either through a jaw system, an adaptor, or fusion to the pipe.

摘要: Disclosed herein is wastewater pipe having a shape that is operable to flow both small and large volumes of wastewater. The wastewater pipe includes a bottom portion with a different diameter than to top portion. The top and bottom portions of the wastewater pipe are connected by side walls that extend tangentially from the bottom portion and intersect tangentially with the top portion. The pipes may also variously include alignment tabs.

摘要: There is provided a plurality of support members (1) in an existing pipe (101) to form a rehabilitating pipe (102). Each support member (1) includes an arcuate plate (2) that, with a substantially semicircular cross-section, has an inner diameter corresponding to the outer diameter of the rehabilitating pipe (102), so that the arcuate plate (2) is fixed to the upper half portion of the inner surface of the existing pipe (102). The rehabilitating pipe (102) is formed by spirally winding an elongate profile strip while pressing the side edges of the profile strip together from the inside thereof to join the side edges together so that the profile strip is in contact internally with the arcuate plate (2).
