摘要： A two-piece building block assembly includes a hollow block and an inner piece. The hollow block has a plurality of studs extending from a top thereof, an opening defined in an underside thereof and a plurality of ribs extends from side walls thereof. The inner piece is corresponding to and received in the opening of the hollow block. A plurality of recesses is defined in the periphery of the inner piece and located corresponding to the studs. The inner piece includes support boards. Each support board is defined between the adjacent recesses and disposed between the two adjacent ribs that are located on the same side wall of the hollow block. The inner piece reinforces the opening of the hollow block to prevent the opening from being deformed. Thus, the building block assembly does not have to be made of high-stiffness or high-density materials.

摘要： A system and method for building on a worksite utilizing compressed masonry blocks is provided. The method includes the steps of providing a block machine at or near a worksite for the structure, providing reusable material at or near the worksite as block material for forming a plurality of compressed blocks, manufacturing each of the plurality of compressed blocks by the block machine by compressing a measured portion of the block material under a pressure in the range of 2500 to 5000 psi, and forming the structure on the worksite from one or more of the plurality of compressed blocks. The reusable material includes common clay, foundry sand, coal ash, construction debris, demolition debris, waste road asphalt, or waste roof shingles. The step of manufacturing each of the plurality of compressed blocks includes the steps of measuring usage information and operational parameter information for the block machine, determining location information for the block machine, and transmitting the usage information, operational parameter information, and location information.

摘要： An insultated wall system comprises a plurarity of foldable blocks, each having two panels of rigid insulated foam, multiple inserts embedded in the panels, and ties between pairs of inserts. Each insert has one or more connectors, each with an end hole that swivelably receives the end leg of a tie in a manner that enables the block to fold. Each connector further has a top opening that releaseably captures the middle leg of the tie and rigidly locks the block against folding. The connectors are double-ended, and the inserts are invertible in the panels. Corner and T-walls are made by simple cuts in the standard blocks. Plates and ties are used to hold together the blocks of a main wall and an intersecting T-wall. The connectors of a panel may contact either the connectors of the other panel, or the other panel itself, when the block is folded.

摘要： The present invention relates to an interlocking masonry wall block having two spaced lugs or projections and a cooperating recess or channel that enable like-shaped blocks to be stacked in a staggered relation to form straight and serpentine walls that are particularly suited for landscaping applications. In one embodiment, the lugs are located proximal the sides of the block and extend from an upper surface of the block. The channel is formed in a lower surface of the block. In another embodiment, the lugs are located at the rear corners of the block and extend below the lower surface of the block. The recess is formed in the rear end of the block between the lugs. Like-shaped blocks are stacked in a staggered relation so that each block is stacked atop two immediately lower blocks. In each embodiment, the lugs and their cooperating channel or recess define a setback dimension.
