摘要： A structural wall apparatus includes a plurality of building panels disposed in edge to edge relationship with each panel being connected to the adjacent abutting panel. Each panel has outer and inner metal skin spaced by an intermediate insulating core of foamed polymer. Each panel has at least one interlocking edge having a metal lined tongue and a metal lined groove shaped for each metal tongue to fit into opposing grooves on abutting panels for interlocking the panels together. Each panel has an elongated reinforcing member positioned adjacent the interlocking edge of the panel and has a channel formed therein shaped to fit around the metal lined groove portion and also has a skin attaching flange on one side for attaching the reinforcing member to the metal skin and a strengthening flange portion on the other side of the metal lined groove. A plurality of panel connecting fasteners attaches the panels together by having one elongated fastener passing through the panel skin and through the elongated reinforcing member skin attaching flange and through the reinforcing member channel and through the metal lined groove and the metal lined tongue of the second panel and through the elongated reinforcing member strengthening flange on the other side of the metal lined groove to provide greater strength to the connecting edges of the attached panels.

摘要： Tiles 60 inches long fit on a wall along the length of a standard bathtub, and when cut in half, fit on walls at ends of a standard bathtub. Each tile has a lip and flange that overlap adjacent tiles in a way that makes grouting unnecessay between adjacent tiles. A mastic bead between adjacent tiles is hidden from view and seals out moisture. An edge of a tile front surface slopes down from the flange of one tile to drain moisture away from the lip and flange. The lip and flange also abut in a way that aligns one tile with another.

摘要： A structural assembly includes a square trough-shaped stone having inclined external corner regions and a dovetailed groove formed in each wall side. The dovetail tongue of a connecting plate fits into the dovetailed groove. At the lower end of the internal surface of each wall of the stone, a shoulder portion may be provided for accommodating base elements. The height of the connecting plate is advantageously greater than the height of the trough-shaped stone, so that the plate projects beyond the stone in a vertical direction for connection to further stones.With such an assembly, it is possible to erect dry-stone type walls of various types. The individual elements of the assembly can be produced rationally and economically, and it is also possible to produce end elements and corner elements from the trough-shaped stones by cleaving the stones along grooves provided for such purpose.

摘要： A prefabricated building system comprising wall panels having interior and exterior surfaces with insulation positioned therebetween. The interior and exterior surfaces may be of any suitable finish and appearance, depending on the building to be constructed. Each of the panels is provided with releasable locking devices on the side and/or end edges thereof which are constructed to enable the panels to be locked to adjacent panels, sills or the like after the panels have been positioned in their desired location in the building. The releasable locking devices are actuated from the exterior of the panels so that they can be conveniently locked together or unlocked, if desired, after they have been positioned in their desired locations. Each panel comprises a frame formed of elongated channel members for strength and load bearing capability. The channel members are provided with spaced clip members which serve to support the insulation between the interior and exterior surfaces of the panel. The clip members also serve to movably support the releasable locking devices. A new and improved locking and support structure is provided for supporting prefabricated roof panels on the wall panels.

摘要： A block of concrete or the like for use in constructing a mortarless wall is provided which includes a spaced parallel pair of upright sidewalls having flat bottoms and tops and bearing integral block interlocking connectors on their opposite ends. The sidewalls are integrally connected to one or more transverse webs extending from the bottom of the sidewalls to above the tops thereof. Parallel slits may divide the upper end of the web into knock-off portions for installation of reinforcing bars. Each web has a central concavity in the upper end of at least one opposite side thereof, which concavity slope down into a complimentary central bottom convexity. The web tapers in thickness from bottom to top. The concavity and convexity can be triangular, dish-shaped, rectangular, etc. The webs define cells in the block when a number of the blocks are vertically stacked in staggered array to form a wall. The webs make point or line contact with each other to interlock and prevent horizontal displacement, while presenting staggered cells and maximum surface area for adhesion to reinforcing concrete poured into the cells. The block is inexpensive, durable, strong and easy to use.

摘要： A modular housing construciton consists of pre-cast concrete footer/foundation components; modular floor panel elements; interior/exterior modular wall panel units; and a roof. The floor panel elements, wall panel units, and foundation components have preformed wedge/lock receiving openings and the pre-cast concrete footer/foundation components and the wall panel units have preformed wedge-lock operating openings provided therein. Certain of the wall panel units are provided with windows and certain of the wall panel units are provided with doors. Electrical receptacle and wiring are fabricated in selected wall panel units. The wall panel units, the floor panel units and footer/foundation components are preferably preformed in four foot sections whereby the size of the housing is determined by the selected number of such units. With the modular form of construction on the site erection and diassembly of the footer/foundation components, floor panel elements, wall panel units and roofing is minimized and quality control is standardized.
