摘要： A system for mounting glass roof tiles on a roof construction includes a roof batten, an S-shaped bracket defining a first U-shaped portion and a second U-shaped portion, a sealing plate and two glass roof tiles arranged side by side along a first longitudinal direction defined by the roof batten. The first U-shaped portion of the bracket is clamped onto the roof batten and retained in relation thereto solely by means of friction and gravity. An end portion of the sealing plate and a lower end portion of each of the glass roof tiles are snugly fit into the second U-shaped portion of the bracket. The glass roof tiles can be mounted on the roof construction in an easy and fast manner without the use of fastening means or tools.

摘要： A roof mounting assembly includes rows of pans mounted to the understructure of a roof by hooking the pans around support tracks. Rows of roofing panels are mounted over the respective rows of pans with adjacent roofing panels generally abutting each other to create a joint located above the central area of an underlying pan so that the pan acts as a barrier to prevent rain water and the like from flowing through the joint and directly to the understructure. By using underlying pans to prevent leakage, it is possible to minimize the amount of panel overlapping. The panels are preferably mounted to the tracks by separate hook members. The upper end of each panel is between and against an overlying panel and an underlying track.

摘要： A tile roof fixing system for securing roof tiles/shingles to a roof structure wherein a plurality of rows of tiles/shingles are supported by spaced apart parallel battens, with each tile/shingle having an upper end portion supported by one batten and a lower end portion supported by an adjacent lower batten, the lower end portion of each tile/shingle overlapping the upper end portion of an adjacent lower tile/shingle. Each of the tiles/shingles is supported along its opposite longitudinal margins by a pair of relatively short parallel joining strips which extend between and are supported by a pair of adjacent battens, each strip having a length such that its lower end portion projects beyond the lower one of the pair of adjacent battens. The joining strips are mechanically interlocked with the battens adjacent their lower ends and are each provided with integral locking means for securing the lower end portion of a tile/shingle against upward lift.
