摘要: A cleanout cover including a mounting ring that is secured to a surface surrounding an opening in a wall or floor through which the cleanout is accessed. Said mounting ring contains means for engaging with a separate dome-shaped cover with complementary engaging locking tabs and slots. The mounting ring is first attached to the adjacent surface. Next, the cover is locked into place over the mounting ring thus forming a fully functioning cleanout cover that does not directly engage with the cleanout plug. When the user desires to access the plumbing system, they simply twist the dome cover in the opposite direction and unlock the tabs located on the cover from the complementary slots located on the mounting ring. The dome cover is thereby removed and the cleanout plug is accessible through the wall.

摘要: An equipment box assembly includes an open-ended housing and a support plate. The housing has a back wall and opposed sidewalls defining a cavity in the housing. The back wall includes a plurality of mounting features for mounting electronic components to the back wall. The housing is configured to be positioned in an installed position in a mounting surface such that the cavity is recessed in the mounting surface. The support plate includes a plurality of mounting features for mounting electronic components to the support plate. The support plate is releasably mounted in the housing cavity in a first position with the support plate generally parallel to and spaced apart a first distance from the back wall.

摘要: A removable cover for covering an access opening in a structure includes a plate member having two opposite side edges and front and rear sides. An elongate clamping member has two opposite end sections each forming an elongate clamping element and each extending towards a respective one of the side edges from a central region of the plate member. The clamping member is formed from a flexible material and is attached at a central portion thereof to the rear side of the plate. The two opposite end sections are substantially rigid while a central section has at least one flexible transverse portion. A separate spring device is mounted on the clamping member and has two elongate spring arms projecting outwardly in order to engage and bias the clamping elements towards engagement with the rear side of the plate member.

摘要: An access door has an outer annular wall frame and an inner annular panel frame. The panel frame has a back flange parallel to but offset rearward from a wall face plane and having a planar front face formed with a forwardly projecting formation. It also has a rim flange projecting generally perpendicular to the plane forward from the outer edge of the back flange and having an annular inner face forming a corner with the front face of the back flange. A rigid panel set in the annular frame has an outer edge juxtaposed with the inner face of the rim flange, a back face spaced from the front face of the back flange, and a front face generally coplanar with a front edge of the rim flange. Adhesive in the space secures the panel to the panel frame.

摘要: The invention is a flange device used for flush mounting construction fixture or hardware trims. The invention reduces the potential of a hair line crack between dissimilar materials. The invention can be molded, extruded or otherwise formed into nearly any shape and designed to work with a large variety of different fixtures, hardware and trims. The portion of the flange in contact with a surfacing material (those applied at plastic state) bonds the two surfaces together and is an interface which isolates the dissimilar fixture or hardware material.

摘要: The invention provides the combination of a grille and a connector frame for a duct outlet in a HVAC system. At least one lock element extends from one of the connector frame and the grille and releaseably engages the other of the connector frame and grille in a releasable connection to hold the grille to the connector frame. 摘要: An access door has a rectangular outer frame adapted to be set in a wall and having two longitudinal sides and two transverse sides defining four corners and a rectangular inner frame dimensioned to fit within the outer frame. Respective hinge plates fixed at corners at ends of one of the longitudinal sides of the inner frame each have an outer part bearing outward on a back face of the outer frame for holding the inner frame in the outer frame and for pivoting of the inner frame in the outer frame generally about the one longitudinal side. Each of the plates is formed with a transversely outwardly open centering notch. Respective centering tabs on the outer frame are engageable in the centering notches of the hinges.
