摘要： An apparatus for supporting workers and materials above-grade on both the eave and gable ends of a structure is disclosed. The apparatus can be combined with one or more additional staging apparatuses to create a staging system for the support of persons or materials while work is being done on a structure, e.g., roofing, siding, etc. The modular design of the apparatus simplifies installation, such that it can be readily attached to a roof or other support member of a structure by a single person, and facilitates the adjustable vertical positioning of people or materials along the walls of the structure. The staging system can also include a rail member for safety support and alternative scaffolding arrangements.

摘要： An adjustable platform extension bracket for work platform systems comprises a post member having two posts joined by a plurality of positional structures. A first connection portion forms a first channel such that the first connection portion is symmetrical along an axis parallel with and passing through the channel. The post member is slidingly engaged in the first channel such that at least one of the positional structures is positionable in the channel. The bracket does not require any diagonal support. The dimensions of work platforms, particularly suspended work platform systems, may be extended using the adjustable platform extension bracket.

摘要： Scaffolding apparatus cooperates with a flooring structure of a building which has rim joists and floor joists. The scaffolding apparatus includes a sleeve which is inserted through an aperture in a rim joist and connected to the rim joist. A platform support arm for supporting a platform is inserted into the sleeve and removably locked in place. The sleeve is prevented from moving upward under a platform load by at least one of the floor joists. The scaffolding apparatus can either be installed perpendicular to or parallel with the floor joists.

摘要： A method for demolishing a building, where the building comprises a building base placed in proximity of a ground, or placed on the ground, and an opposite building top or temporary building top arranged away from the building base, as well as building floors. The equipment used in the method includes a platform adapted to be positioned against the top of the building, avoiding ground support devices which extend from the platform to the base of the building or the ground surrounding the building. The platform includes at least one working scaffold adapted to be arranged along the periphery of the building and to face at least one floor of said building. The working scaffold is supported, hung, on the platform so that it descends along the side wall of the building to border the works for demolishing the building.

摘要： A platform system useful for constructing, maintaining, or repairing greenhouse roofs comprises a platform section providing a working area surface formed with removable treads supported on left and right platform rails. The platform section is supported by downwardly projecting upper and lower support bases appointed to rest on structural members of the roof, thereby providing a clearance between the working area surface and the roof beneath. Guardrails extend along the sides of the platform section between guardrail posts attached at the upper and lower ends of the platform rails. The system is light-weight, minimizing the loading imposed on the roof and permitting it to be readily positioned by a small work crew. The support base may include retractable rollers that permit it to be slid upward across the eaves and onto the roof. A deployment assist cart may be used to erect, support, and access the platform system.

摘要： A below main cable work platform support for hanging a work platform below a main cable of a suspension bridge and a method of installation thereof. A plurality of supports attach to each band on a main cable. Each support has a pair of struts bolted to the band, the top of each strut on each side of the band, the struts extending downward, connecting to the ends of a horizontal bar that sits between a pair of suspender cables hanging from each band. A work platform is suspended from the horizontal bar and tie down cables extend downward from the bar attaching below to stabilize the platform against wind and uplift. The method includes the step of screwing a single bolt into each side of a cable band for supporting the support therebelow.
